He's mine, and I'm his. Our love is all-consuming, powerful, imperfect, and real...

In the international bestseller REAL, the unstoppable bad boy of the Underground fighting circuit finally met his match. Hired to keep him in prime condition, Brooke Dumas unleashed a primal desire in Remington "Riptide" Tate as vital as the air he breathes . . . and now he can't live without her.

Brooke never imagined she would end up with the man who is every woman's dream, but not all dreams end happily ever after, and just when they need each other the most, she is torn away from his side. Now with distance and darkness between them, the only thing left is to fight for the love of the man she calls MINE.

5 out of 5 stars

This was such an emotional and intense story and I loved it – once again by 10% I was completely invested! I love Brooke and Remy so much but Remy, oh man, he just wrecks me (but in a good way). They are so perfect for each other and better together. It is such a wonderful story and while I really like Brooke, Remy’s character is so real, he just makes my heart melt. There were so many twists and turns, I was an anxiety ridden mess that couldn't put my Kindle down. I was constantly in this "I have to know NOW!" frantic state.

I thought this book had a different feel than the first one, this is a story about Remy and Brooke’s life after REAL. I love how they fight for one another, their future, and the sacrifices they make. There was so much emotion and turmoil, I was teary eyed more than once. Remy seemed so much stronger to me but he still had his issues. He just seemed more in tune. Brooke was a bit more emotional but we soon find out why and it very understandable.

I really liked their playfulness and tender moments throughout the book, they have such an interesting pull on one another. I liked Brooke's fierceness of always wanting to protect her man and Remy’s alpha male protectiveness. I really felt for Remy because he was doing something that was so hard for him but it was completely unselfish because he knew it was the right thing to do.

I love that this story shows love is work and you have to fight for it and even if you are together, you always have to keep fighting for it and working to keep it.

I love the family dynamic they share with their friends who have become their family. This story was so descriptive and painted a perfect picture. Great fight scenes. Everything was like a movie playing in my head. And whew with the sexy times... fans self... cold shower... damn....

Around 89% I was heart.in.throat.all.choked.up. So intense! By the end I was an emotional mess, everything was so heartfelt and gripping, it was like I couldn’t breath! I love Remy and Brooke!
Perfect mix of tenderness, emotion, and drama! 5 stars all the way!

The author, Katy Evans, has included a playlist for MINE in the book just like she did for REAL. Hearing the songs makes everything seem so much more meaningful and it gives a whole other dimension to Remy and Brooke. It’s just like icing on the cake for me.
