When reserved flight attendant Bianca gets one look at billionaire hotel owner James Cavendish, she loses all of her hard-won composure. For a girl who can easily juggle a tray of champagne flutes at 35,000 feet in three inch heels, she finds herself shockingly weak-kneed from their first encounter. The normally unruffled Bianca can't seem to look away from his electrifying turquoise gaze. They hold a challenge, and a promise, that she finds impossible to resist, and she is a girl who is used to saying no and meaning it.

Bianca is accustomed to dealing with supermodels and movie stars in her job as a first class flight attendant, but James Cavendish puts them all to shame in the looks department. If only it were just his looks that she found so irresistible about the intimidating man, Bianca could have ignored his attentions. But what tempts her like never before is the dominant pull he seems to have over her from the moment they meet, and the promise of pleasure, and pain, that she reads in his eyes.

This book is intended for ages 18 and up.

5 out of 5 stars

This book! I freaking loved it! Intensity, drama, and MAJOR HOTNESS!

I really liked the characters. I immediately wanted to know more about Bianca and her past, she fascinated me. She was so guarded yet accepting of James and his domineering ways. James was intriguing and sexy and he was pretty much a new book boyfriend instantly. Sexy. Charming, domineering, and yet vulnerable and insecure. I want to delve into his mind and figure out what his deal was, why he is the way he is. Love him!

Their relationship developed quickly but I thought it was still well developed. As their stories unfolded I found myself on the edge of my seat. Their pasts were pretty horrific, very emotional and intense, and I felt deeply for them. I loved watching them let their guard down a bit and how they had an information exchange to keep the balance.

I thought the other characters played into the story well and I adored Bianca's best friend Stephan. The story of his past with hers, what they endured, I just couldn't get enough. The unconditional love he has for her was so wonderful and heartfelt.

The sex. Ummm... Wow! Steamy, demanding, ultra HOT. I didn't know it was still possible for a book to make me blush while reading but it absolutely did. Holy goodness! James Cavendish makes me swoon!!!

Towards the end my heart was racing! And the end? Mild cliffhanger (not the kind where I want to throw my Kindle however). I need book two immediately. I do have lots of questions but wasn’t left feeling unsatisfied. This is book one in a series so I know they’ll get answered. Lots of drama, intensity, and even sadness. It was awesome! Love these characters.

This was a fast paced read that I could not put down. Pretty much inhaled it! Everything I could have wanted!!! 5 stars!
