Annaliese Harper knows that one tiny mistake can jeopardize a career before it’s even begun. Letting your boss find the extensive collection of porn on your personal laptop is one way. Sleeping with him is another. Liese manages to do both.

As the new librarian at a prestigious small-town private high school, Liese is drawn to her sexy, charismatic principal, Ryder Whitehall—an attraction she refuses to acknowledge given their relationship and her recent liberation from a delusional ex-boyfriend.

Liese is certain Ryder’s flirtation is the product of her sex-deprived imagination—until he discovers her digital porn stash during working hours and demands a private meeting. Behind closed doors, their attraction explodes into a dangerous, passionate affair that not only threatens their jobs and reputations, but most of all, their hearts.

4.5 out of 5 stars

Loved this! It made me so happy to read. It was full of everything I adore: funny and sexy with great characters! I was hooked from the very beginning!

I loved Liese and Ryder's animosity so much. That sexual tension and banter that was created was fantastic. It made it playful and fun and hot! You could feel their heat! Liese and Ryder together when it came to the sexy, just DAMN and OH MY THAT WAS HOT! I just had this incredible feeling of anticipation while reading, I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next.

I loved Liese. She was adventurous and could really stand up for herself when she needed to. I like that she fought off what she was feeling for so long and her internal dialogue was great. And Ryder. Oh my. Loved him. So much. Loved! He had this formal quietness but you could tell there was so much more there. When he was sweet and caring I adored it. I can't stress their chemistry enough. The two of them wanting each other was like having cake in front of you but not being able to eat it, but you want it so bad you can practically taste it - it was fantastic!

I enjoyed all the other characters and interactions, the build and how the story was laid out was fantastic. Her friend Marisa was great and I thought it was awesome that she was such a pro at photoshop (so funny!)! I also liked Liese’s parents a lot and Ryder meeting them for the first time was priceless. I liked that there was drama created with someone from Liese’s past as well, it kept it interesting but it wasn't over the top.

This was a an excellent and solid read. Great pacing and build. Loved that animosity and chemistry, there was just a great dynamic between Liese and Ryder and I felt really pulled in and enjoyed every second. That being said, as much as I loved Ryder, I wish I would have had more details about him, to know him better and to know why he ticked the way he did. That might be me being selfish too because I loved him and couldn't get enough.

Fun, refreshing, sexy and HOT HOT HOT!
