Review Recap: July 2015

Saturday, August 1, 2015

7 new reviews shared in July. Not to shabby! A lot of great reads and two new-to-me authors (Jill Shalvis and Olivia Cunning). I love that feeling I get when I read someone new and I think, “What took me so long? This is awesome!” Then I go to Goodreads and end up adding a ton of their books to my to-be-read list. I will never be hurting for books to read, that’s for sure.

Check out my newest reviews below! :-)

This was so freaking amazing! I'm sorry it took me so long to read it. Right from the beginning I was pulled in. A truly wonderful story. I just couldn't get enough.

I thought this was a really great, smooth read. It had a steady pace and flowed nicely. A good mix of sexy times and emotion as well as a solid story.

I’ve been working on freshening up my blog. I’ve made new graphics and am in the process of rearranging things. I’ll have a new banner up soon! Stay tuned…. hope you like it!

I ran a paperback giveaway and ended up giving away four books! I’m hoping to do another giveaway in August so stay tuned.

The sexy cover for Sinful Desires by Lauren Blakely was revealed. This is the second book in the Sinful Nights series and it releases September 22.

Julie Ann Walker kicked off her new Deep Six series with the first book, Hell or High Water.

I Want You to Want Me by Erika Kelly was released. This is the second book in her Rock Star Romance Series. I loved the first book, You Really Got Me so I am definitely looking forward to this new addition the series.

For me personally July was extremely busy. My oldest came home to visit for two weeks so I had a house full of 5 again. I forgot what it was like when everyone is home. It’s awesome and chaotic all at the same time.

I also had a small moment of panic when my Kindle decided to have a mind of it’s own but after a complete reset, it seems to be working fine. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

Now that it’s August, my middle child will be heading back to college and I’ll start the back-to-school count down for my youngest. I love summer but I definitely prefer the structure of the school routine. I’m excited to get back to it.

Happy August! Stay cool!

  1. I think I'd have a mini heart attack if my Kindle died. No joke. I'm glad yours is working again!!

On Dublin Street - that series is THE BEST. I still have the last few books to read and need to get on that.

I can't wait until the last book of the Chasing Fire series is out so I can try them!

You had a great reading month, despite being busy!
