This was awesome. AWESOME! I was hooked from the prologue and couldn't put it down. It hit on everything I love: great story, interesting characters, a little bit of drama and humor and a whole lot of sexy. Seriously hot read! Loved this!

An Ounce of Hope

5-stars

Review: An Ounce of Hope (A Pound of Flesh #2) by Sophie Jackson

Such a beautiful story! Hope, redemption, healing. It was so wonderful. There was this perfectly paced, incredible build throughout that had me drawn in, I couldn't stop reading. I swear sometimes I even held my breath because there was so much emotion and intensity. Just incredible!

Off the Clock

Review: Off the Clock (Pleasure Principle #1) by Roni Loren

This was so fantastic! There was this perfect balance of passion and emotion and seriously epic hotness. I was expecting hotness, but it was just so much more! It's my first book by Roni Loren and I'm blown away! You have to read it!!!

I started a feature last year called On My Radar but I didn’t do it consistantly. This year I am going to try and do it every Friday. These will be books that I am interested in reading and am excited about… books that are “on my radar.”

I started a new series this month called Recommended Read. This feature showcases Series Recommendations. Either the series is complete and I’ve read them all or it’s an ongoing series and I am up to date with the latest release. No matter what, these will be books that I LOVE and HIGHLY recommend with characters that I just can’t let go. If it’s an ongoing series, I’ll update the appropriate page after the newest release has been read and reviewed. Keep an eye out for more!

There were lots of new releases this past month. I can’t wait to read Pucked Over by Helena Hunting!

Lauren Blakely has a new book coming out in the Sinful Nights series. Check out the cover for Sinful Love HERE. It’s the stunning conclusion to the series.

2016 is well underway! It’s a brand new year with things to plan, books to read, schedules to maintain.  I think it started off pretty well… until my husband and I both got sick. Not fun. But we are on the mend and back to our regularly scheduled programming. Thank goodness! ;-)

Happy February! Feel free to drop me a line and say hi, let me know what YOU’RE reading.

  1. Glad you're on the mend!! We've struggled with sickness in our household too...hopefully it's gone for good! Isn't it so great when you read so many awesome books in one month!!? Love it.

    1. It was a great month. There are so many books coming out this year - I can't handled it! And thank you, the hubs and I are much better. I am just really glad the kid didn't get sick (knock on wood!).

  2. Hey Gretchen! Lots of those are on my TBR. I am reading He Will Be My Ruin right now, but will be reading Legend by Katy Evans and Hard to Handle by RC Boldt next. Then Mel Henry. It's going to be an amazing month. But I am still waiting to read Sebring, Baller and a couple of others that have to take a back seat to my arcs! This is a great list and the reviews are perfect!

    1. Thank you so much! Sometimes it's hard when books have to take a back seat, I am constantly searching for balance between the two. There are just so many great things to read!
