Wow! January started out with a bang! I posted 9 new reviews on my blog this past month. I highly recommend each and everyone. I read two new-to-me authors as well (Sally Thorne and HelenKay Dimon) and was blown away! It’s going to be a great year. :-)
Hard Hitter (Brooklyn Bruisers #2) by Sarina Bowen

Full Package by Lauren Blakely
There is something magical about reading a Lauren Blakely story. How the great writing pulls you in, how you want to be friends with all her endearing and likeable characters. How there is a prefect blend of entertaining and sexy as the story unfolds. It's just a amazing thing to immerse yourself in. I always find myself smiling and my heart feeling full by the time the story ends and let me tell you, I never want it to end. This was just a wonderful read and it created the best kind of magic as I lost myself in Chase and Josie’s world. [Full review]
The Fixer (Games People Play #1) by HelenKay Dimon

The Hating Game by Sally Thorne
Me saying I loved this book is an understatement. It was incredible! I loved the amazing relationship happening between Lucy and Josh. They had this awesome animosity happening. It was witty and fun and frustrating and endearing all wrapped together. I loved all these little moments they shared and watching things develop and grow. I swear it had the most epic slow burn I have ever read to date. I was just filled with so much anticipation, completely mesmerized by their complicated relationship. [Full review]
Accidentally on Purpose (Heartbreaker Bay #3) by Jill Shalvis
This was such a great read! One of my very favorite things is when the main characters bicker and argue, when they have that off the charts animosity that's filled with tension and need and it's oh so entertaining. Archer and Elle definitely fit the bill! [Full review]
Any Time, Any Place (Billionaire Builders #2) by Jennifer Probst
I love a good enemies to lovers story. The animosity between the characters, the playful sparing and the sparks that fly as the chemistry builds. I love the chase of it all as the story develops. It hooks me every time. Any Time, Any Place totally hooked me. Great read! [Full review]
Heartbreaker (Filthy Dirty Love #1) by Stacey Kennedy
Sizzling hot, sweet and sexy! This story was excellent! If you've not read this author before, this would be an excellent one to start with. It’s my new favorite Stacey Kennedy book to date! [Full review]
The Bachelor Auction (Bachelors of Arizona #1) by Rachel Van Dyken
This story was so freaking entertaining! I loved the flirty and fun vibe it had going on. Everything about it was awesome from the wonderful and endearing main characters, the flirty and sexy twin brothers, one seriously quirky grandfather and some hysterical farm animals. I pretty much inhaled this! [Full review]
There were so many new releases in January it was crazy! There was no way I can keep up with them all so I’m not even going to try but if you click on release event, the latest ones will pop up for you. Totally lazy on my part I know, but there are A LOT! lol! Actually, the first half of the year looks super promising. I’m pretty much running around thinking *all the books!*
Did you see the cover for Sex in the Sticks by Sawyer Bennett? I’m excited for this new series. Also, the cover for Shacking Up by Helena Hunting… oh. my. They’re both romantic comedies which are quickly becoming my go-to type of reads so I am eagerly anticipating both of their releases.
In case you missed it, I kicked off a new monthly feature in January called Let’s Talk About That Story. It’s me, chatting about books… kind of like I do here in Things to Note but a bit more in depth. Be sure to check it out → Let’s Talk About That Story January 2017.
Also, I shared my Top 15 Reads of 2016 at the beginning of the month. I highly recommend each and everyone! Seriously, they’re all must reads! Check out my Top 15 Reads of 2016 list HERE.
How did your January start off? What was your favorite book this past month? Let me know!
