This was a great month! I read some new to me authors, a historical romance, first books in a series, continued on with a few more, and finished up a few different series… and they were all fantastic. It was a full month for sure. Check out the 11 new reviews I posted in August below.

I had a blast reading this, it was so freaking fun! A lighter paranormal romance with really likable characters. It was fast paced, kept me on my toes, and left me excited for the next book. [Full review]

EPIC! That's the word I keep coming back to when I think of this story with all its amazing conclusions and the trilogy itself. It was an epic adventure with so many twists and turns into the land of bourbon that's full of lies, deceit, hope, and love. It was truly a phenomenal story! [Full review]

Awesome start to the series! I absolutely enjoyed this even though it stressed me the heck out. Axel was totally alpha male and a bit over the top in the beginning and I could not wait for those edges to soften. It was so worth the wait! [Full review]

This was a fantastic story! I loved Harper so much and loved watching her truly grow through her struggles. And Remy, oh my! Cajun and a hockey player? Can you get any sexier? This man was just so incredibly charming and sweet, he oozes hotness. I loved them. [Full review]

Some books are just flat out fun and this gave off a seriously entertaining vibe right from the start. From the awesome cast of characters to the animosity and flirting, this just checked every bell and whistle for a great story. It had an awesome HEA that left me with a big ol' smile on my face!
