Review Recap: January 2018

The new year means a new look for my monthly review recap! I thought I’d mix it up a bit so I’m grouping reviews by their star ratings. I kicked off January by sharing 9 new reviews and reading a few new-to-me authors. I also listened to a few audios books so in addition to my regular review recap, I’ll be sharing those as well. It was a really good month, you can find all the reviews below.

audio-book-love

If you’re a regular visitor of my blog and have read the posts from my Let’s Talk feature, you know that I only listen to audio books that I’ve previously read and loved. Maybe some day that will change but for now, that’s how I’m rolling. If this is your first time visiting, well, now you know, lol! For me, rereading via audio is like finding your favorite movie on TV where you just feel compelled to sit and watch it because you love it so much. It’s fun to relive your favorite moments with no pressure.

I like to listen to audio’s when I’m cleaning or doing food prep or general household things. I tried it driving once but I was so into the story I missed a turn… that was the last time I listened in the car. Anyway, it’s something fun I enjoy doing and I wanted to share the books I listened to this past month.

things-to-note_thumb2

Did you see the new look of my blog? I figured it was a new year so it was time to freshen things up a bit so I updated it at the end of January. I’m slowly but surely going to work on some new graphics as well. I’m a very visual person so I tried to make it so more images where shown so you can see what you might like and where you might want to go when visiting.

Instagram is the bomb! I like Facebook and Twitter but Instagram is my jam!!! I think it might have something to do with me being a visual person as mentioned above. If you don’t already follow me, you can find me HERE.

I added a Recommended Reads section on my blog as well. This will be updated throughout the year but I wanted to get my favorite series combined all in once place. Stay tuned for updates there.

2017 was pretty awesome and filled with amazing reads. In case you missed it, you can find my Favorite Romance Reads of 2017 HERE. My favorite thing though, besides all the fantastic books I get to lose myself in, is making new friendships and connections with people who are just as passionate as I am about romance books. THANK YOU dear reader for visiting and commenting, for following and connecting. I appreciate each and every one of you.

Alrightly folks, that’s it! I wish you all an amazing February!!!
