I felt like I had technical difficulties this month when it came to audio books. I tried sample after sample but nothing was really connecting. Narration really is everything because I was looking forward to rereading a favorite from last year but the woman’s voice just didn’t do it for me so I gave up. Thank goodness The Duchess Deal by Tessa Dare was available from the library. It was brilliant to listen too. I think I might just buy the audio to listen to whenever I want, it was that good. Now I’m all ready for The Governess Game which releases at the end of August. The lovely Jessica Lemmon mentioned on her Instagram that her Billionaire Bad Boys series was available on audio so I listened to The Billionaire Bachelor next. It was such an excellent read the first time around (one of my favorites of 2016!) and the audio was just what I needed.

I have no idea what to listen to in August. I’m pretty much going to fly by the seat of my pants. I feel like I need to reread The Hating Game again (6 stars y’all, it was one of my favorites of 2017!) so that might be up soon. Who knows. I’m totally winging it!

Do you listen to audio books? Feel free to share your favorites!

School starts mid August for my youngest. It’s been a pretty easy, uneventful summer but I very much prefer the school schedule. School clothes and supply shopping are done… I think. I always have more to buy after school actually starts.

My Netflix addiction seems to be out of control but I’m rolling with it. I binged Glow (total awesomeness!) and now I’m on to Orange is the New Black. I’ve seen Orange is the New Black before but I’m prepping for season five so I got it stuck in my head that I needed rewatch them all. Good thing too, I forgot half the stuff that’s happened!

Summer has been hard blogging and social media wise. I seem to be easily distracted with a kid at home. I guess that’s why I enjoy the school schedule so much more, lol! As always, I’m adjusting and adapting how I share, what I read, how many ARCs I take and all that jazz. I continually say it’s all about ebb and flow for me when it comes to blogging. My main goal is to keep it fun!

Thanks for hanging out with me! I appreciate all of you.

Have a great August!
