Review: Rock Chick Reborn (Rock Chick #9) by Kristen Ashley

I was thrilled to see the surprise release of Rock Chick Reborn in April. I’ve always loved Shirleen and her outgoing personality so I was really happy she was getting her own story. It did not disappoint! Awesome conclusion to the Rock Chick series!

Beautiful.

But Moses has a big challenge on his hands.

He has to convince Shirleen of all that.

And then convince her she deserves to have more.

This was an exceptional read and I enjoyed every second. From the sweet to the heat, as well as the entertaining moments and all the emotion, I couldn't get enough. Shirleen and Moses were amazing!

I've always loved Shirleen and her big personality so getting to really know her and get more details on her back story was awesome and heartbreaking all rolled into one. She is just such a strong, bad ass, independent woman and getting to see her vulnerabilities and struggles was something else. I adored Shirleen’s love interest, Moses. He was so sweet, caring and patient. He was genuine and open with that bit of alpha male I loved and I thought he was the perfect match for Shirleen. I loved their flirting, being open and sharing with one another. There were so many fun, entertaining moments as well as some emotional ones. They had a wonderful relationship and I loved watching it grow.

Besides Moses and Shirleen's wonderful relationship, there was also Shirleen’s relationships with others. There were so many amazing character interactions. I loved seeing her with the Hot Bunch, there was just so much love and it was so fun to read. I loved seeing the Rock Chicks as well and getting updates on where everyone was at. The most precious thing of all, for me, was Shirleen’s relationship with Roam and Sniff. I have adored this trio and what Shirleen has built with them. I loved, beyond words, seeing who they've all become and how they grew together and have become a family. There were just so many amazing moments that had me smiling and laughing and tearing up thanks to all of them.

This was an excellent story. The writing was great, I loved the details and development. It was a shorter story yes, but it packed a punch and was full of everything I love. KA a did a brilliant job with this send off. I'm so sad it's over, I truly am. This is one of my favorite series of all time. I can't say enough good things or recommend it enough. I had a blast reading this and enjoyed every second, this was a fantastic read!
