4 out of 5 stars

Another great story on the Black Dagger Brotherhood series!

I really liked both Vishous and Jane, I liked learning their details, and how everything developed. Loved learning all the history of V, it was pretty horrific and I felt bad for him. I enjoyed the overall development with their relationship. There was a nice amount of drama and emotion as well as a lot of hotness and growth though I did think some of their issues were solved a bit to easily however.

There was a lot going on in this. It was Vishous and Jane’s story but a lot of other sub stories were happening. This is not a new thing for this series but the switch over of POV's seemed to be happening a lot. I was into everything, it was all really good, I just missed the main focus and connection being on the hero and heroine.

I liked the updates on John Matthew and how that's progressing. Since this is book five I've figured some things out and I can't wait for his story and for that outcome. There was a lot happening with Butch and V. I've always enjoyed their banter and antagonism but this time around, it seemed like over kill. I did like their true bonding moments (I’m a sucker for those).

Intriguing characters, excellent details learned, and a really good build throughout. These stories are so addicting!
