Things We Never Got Over by Lucy Score
There's that moment when you finish a really incredible book when you just have to take a second to take a deep breath and absorb all your feelings because it was so tremendously good and you can't voice all the good it made you feel. You feel it in your soul. That’s what Things We Never Got Over did for me. I thought this was a truly exceptional story!

Lucy Score has previously been on my Favorite Books list for Rock Bottom Girl in 2019, for both By a Thread and Riley Thorn and the Dead Guy Next Door in 2020, and in 2021 for Forever Never. This year she's on my list twice for Things We Never Got Over and Maggie Moves On (see below).

Hook, Line, and Sinker by Tessa Bailey
Officially a favorite of 2022! Hook, Line, and Sinker filled me up in so many ways, I cannot say enough good things. It was an absolutely exceptional story. I laughed, I cried, and I was filled with so much anticipation for Fox and Hannah to come together and to also succeed with their own personal triumphs. My emotions were on a roller coaster and I never wanted to get off. I was immediately in love with them and loved watching them grow over the course of the story.

Tessa Bailey has previously been on my Favorite Books list for It Happened One Summer in 2021.

Maggie Moves On by Lucy Score
Simply incredible. Maggie Moves On is a new favorite! 6 stars! The characters, the attention to detail, the build, the house, and even the dog. There were so many amazing moments filled with so much feeling. I laughed, I cried, I swooned, and completely fell in love with Maggie and Silas. This story was perfection.
