This story was just so incredibly FUN to read. Witty and entertaining. A book by Jill Shalvis always brings a smile to my face. :-)

If she has her way…

Willa Davis is wrangling puppies when Keane Winters stalks into her pet shop with frustration in his chocolate-brown eyes and a pink bedazzled cat carrier in his hand. He needs a kitty sitter, stat. But the last thing Willa needs is to rescue a guy who doesn’t even remember her . . .

…He’ll get nothing but coal in his stocking.

Saddled with his great-aunt’s Feline from Hell, Keane is desperate to leave her in someone else’s capable hands. But in spite of the fact that he’s sure he’s never seen the drop-dead-gorgeous pet shop owner before, she seems to be mad at him . . .

Unless he tempers “naughty” with a special kind of nice…

Willa can’t deny that Keane’s changed since high school: he’s less arrogant, for one thing—but can she trust him not to break her heart again? It’s time to throw a coin in the fountain, make a Christmas wish—and let the mistletoe do its work . . .

5 out of 5 stars

Witty and entertaining is just what I needed and I totally got it! This story was absolutely charming and put me I a ridiculously good mood, I loved every single second!

Wonderful story with likable characters. There was a light, fun vibe happening that made it incredibly enjoyable to read. It was extremely well written and engaging. I found myself chuckling and smiling the majority of the time as I learned about Willa and Keane. Willa and Keane are just so sweet and sincere and I loved seeing them open up. They had such fantastic chemistry together and I loved the build of them getting together even though there was a bit of fighting feelings to get there. This story is low on drama and high on entertainment giving you just the right mix for the perfect feel good story.

There was a lot of really fantastic characters involved helping to round out the story and I enjoyed them all. I love how they all have created this family and are there for each other. Now I want to read all their stories too! It was such an endearing dynamic. There were just so many fantastic details in this that had me grinning so big, from Petunia to Keane's aunt, and to the bickering of Archer and Elle, I was all in.

This was just a really well rounded read. I thought the pace was great and there was an awesome build. There was just the right amount of character development and a nice push and pull happening to have me completely hooked.

This is just one of those stories that leaves your heart feeling happy and smiling big time. This was just so sexy and sweet. Excellent read from start to finish!
