Tucker and Sabrina! The Goal is an awesome edition to the Off-Campus series. Loved the tension and angst! I couldn't put it down.

She’s good at achieving her goals…

College senior Sabrina James has her whole future planned out: graduate from college, kick butt in law school, and land a high-paying job at a cutthroat firm. Her path to escaping her shameful past certainly doesn’t include a gorgeous hockey player who believes in love at first sight. One night of sizzling heat and surprising tenderness is all she’s willing to give John Tucker, but sometimes, one night is all it takes for your entire life to change.

But the game just got a whole lot more complicated

Tucker believes being a team player is as important as being the star. On the ice, he’s fine staying out of the spotlight, but when it comes to becoming a daddy at the age of twenty-two, he refuses to be a bench warmer. It doesn’t hurt that the soon-to-be mother of his child is beautiful, whip-smart, and keeps him on his toes. The problem is, Sabrina’s heart is locked up tight, and the fiery brunette is too stubborn to accept his help. If he wants a life with the woman of his dreams, he’ll have to convince her that some goals can only be made with an assist.

4 out of 5 stars

This was such an addicting read! I wanted to know all the details and couldn't put it down.

I thought the storyline was great and I liked the characters a lot. Tucker was so incredibly sweet with his Texas charm and patience, I just adored him. I really liked Sabrina as well. She is so much more than the cold-as-ice persona she puts out to the world. I loved learning her history and really understood why she was the way she was. She's so guarded but little by little that outside exterior chips away and you can see what a genuine person she is, hard working, determined and strong. I totally got her. When the two very different personalities combine, it made for a pretty fantastic story. I enjoyed their chemistry and that back and forth in the beginning. There's tension and angst, a nice amount of heat, a lot of emotion and a bit of playfulness thrown in. I thought it was a pretty well rounded story.

I loved how this overlapped with the previous book, The Score, it gave it an interesting perspective. It was cool seeing all the guys and their girlfriends from previous stories, they cracked me up. There were a few fun mixed in which was needed in the midst of all the tension. I liked what the secondary characters added to the story even though one of them made me want to throttle him.

I thought the writing was really good. It was detailed but not overly elaborate. It felt a little fast paced in the beginning to me but around 30% I felt like it settled into a good rhythm. There was just enough information and development to keep it moving along nicely. I liked the ending and epilogue but it felt slightly rushed, wrapping up really quickly and smoothly.

This is such a great series and this is an awesome edition. I'd definitely recommend it. Overall it’s a solid, enjoyable read!
