Bailey Moore has an agenda: skiing in the Rockies, exploring castles in Europe, ballroom dancing in Argentina. Now that she has a second lease on life, she's determined not to miss a thing. What she doesn't realize is that item #1 comes with a six-foot-one ski god hot enough to melt a polar ice cap. She doesn't want to miss out on him either, but Hudson Kincaid isn't the type of guy to love and let go. And as gorgeous as Cedar Ridge is, she's not planning to stick around.

As head of ski patrol at his family's resort, Hud thinks he's seen it all. But never has he run into someone like Bailey. She might look delicate, but her attitude is all firecracker. And her infectious joy touches something deep within him that he's been missing far too long. Now he'll just have to convince Bailey to take a chance on her biggest adventure yet . . . something rare and all kinds of wonderful.

5 out of 5 stars

I absolutely adored this! This is just one of those wonderful stories that makes me happy. It's filled with all this goodness, all these great moments from flirty and fun to heartfelt and emotional and it was just pure perfection! I loved every second!

Hudson and Bailey were truly great characters and I couldn't get enough of them. Hudson was pretty amazing and I felt myself falling more in love with him throughout the entire book. So caring, sweet, and loyal but also playful and sexy. I thought he was really well written. Bailey was so inspiring. I loved her tenacity and feistiness and how brave she was. These two together made me ridiculously happy. From them meeting, to their flirting and playfulness, they had that undeniable chemistry that was just perfection to me. There was a wonderful build and great pace. There were all these wonderfully sweet heartfelt moments woven in and it was just perfect and uplifting.

Love love LOVE the family dynamic of the Kincaid’s and all the siblings. They’re fun and silly but also really caring. It just left me with this "I wish I was apart of their family" feeling. Their interactions are priceless! Love how Hudson was with his siblings as well as his mom. There was just a lot of depth involved and it really pulled me in. I loved all the details we learned about Jacob and cannot wait for him to come back to Cedar Ridge (his story next. YAY!!). I'm also totally crushing on Gray. I'd love to know how he and Penny got together in more detail.

This was a really fantastic story. I highly recommend it. Jill Shalvis is quickly becoming a favorite author of mine. :-)

  1. Ooo I'd not seen that Jacob was next! I really loved the family dynamic too. She writes such great non-romantic relationships :D
