First in the new Silver Valley series from the New York Times bestselling author of the Reapers Motorcycle Club Novels.

Fourteen months. For fourteen months, Puck Redhouse sat in a cell and kept his mouth shut, protecting the Silver Bastards MC from their enemies. Then he was free and it was time for his reward--full membership in the club, along with a party to celebrate. That's when he saw Becca Jones for the first time and set everything in motion. Before the night ended he'd violated his parole and stolen her away from everything she knew.

Five years. It was five years ago that Puck destroyed Becca and saved her all in one night. She's been terrified of him ever since, but she's even more terrified of the monsters he still protects her from... But Becca refuses to let fear control her. She's living her life and moving forward, until she gets a phone call from the past she can't ignore. She has to go back, and there's only one man she can trust to go with her--the ex-con biker who rescued her once before.

Puck will help her again, but this time it'll be on his terms. No more lies, no more tears, and no more holding back what he really wants...

4 out of 5 stars

I really, really liked this! It was a great read! It took me to about 30% to really get into it while everything was laid out and then I was invested and couldn’t stop reading. It starts out pretty intense so I was definitely curious where it was all going to go and how things would play out. I really enjoyed the overall story, it was raw and gritty. Lots of twists and turns, lots of drama.

Becca and Puck have messed up pasts so them coming together isn't easy. I liked them but they did frustrate me because they could both be so stubborn and argumentative. That back and forth animosity throughout the story kept things interesting even though it made me crazy – I was definitely rooting for them. When they were sweet together and dropped their attitudes, I totally loved them. I really enjoyed their more relaxed moments and their hot times.

I liked the side MC story going on but still have a lot of questions. I'm thinking since this is the first book in the Silver Valley series that storyline will be touched upon in the next book (I’m hoping, I want to know!). I really liked what was laid out and am definitely loving forward to more. I also liked that we got to see some of the Reaper’s and we got to meet so many new characters within the Silver Bastards. They all had me intrigued. There is also major hints about Mel and Painter in this story so know I am dying for the next Reaper book.

Love the fact that it’s told from dual POV’s. Good progression. Solid story though there were parts that felt repetitive to me. Nice drama. Lots of sexy times. Interesting characters. Loved the ending even though it was slightly predictable and the epilogue was really sweet.
