Warning: This is not a typical love story. This is an all-consuming, soul-crushing, tear-your-heart-into-pieces story. It’s intense, gritty and raw, dark and disturbing, and it doesn’t happen overnight. This is an epic love story that knows no boundaries and has no time limits. It grows and develops—with hurt, sacrifice, and heartache—over the span of a lifetime.

Eva Fox is the princess of the Silver Demons Motorcycle Club. Growing up with bikers in the club lifestyle is all that she knows. When she’s a young girl, Eva meets the reason for her existence. Deuce West is the sexy, biker bad-ass of the Hell’s Horsemen Motorcycle Club. Like Eva, he was born and raised in the club—but that’s where the similarities end. Their first meeting is innocent, but as Eva matures into a woman, their chance reunions evolve into a fit of lust and love. Fate continues to bring them together time and time again, but their twisted journey is filled with pain, betrayal, and bloodshed that could tear them apart. Eva sees in Deuce what he cannot see in himself—a man worthy of love—and Eva spends her lifetime proving to him that her undeniable love is the one thing he can’t live without.

This is Eva and Deuce’s story.

It wasn’t easy.

Nothing worth doing ever is.

And love is worth everything.

4.5 out of 5 stars

This is a raw, gritty story full of violence, love, and growth. When I started the book, I just accepted things as is because it’s apart of their lifestyle and really just threw myself into the story. Ava and Deuce are drawn to one another like magnets and have crazy chemistry.

There is just so much going on over the span of there lives and I was absorbed in all of it. My emotions were all over the place while reading. I was so pulled into this world... it was gripping. The relationships with all the characters seemed so dysfunction but it was their normal and somehow seemed right because it was what they were raised knowing. With all the violence and anger that was involved you could still see that there was a love story there. And what a story it was truly spanning over a lifetime.

I can't remember the last book I read where I didn't pay attention to the percentage on my Kindle – I was that immersed. This book just flew by. Ava and Deuce evolve so much over the course of the story. They meet when Ava is really young and there's a HUGE age difference. There are so many different layers and players and the ground work was laid for more stories… I will definitely read more.

I did get aggravated with Ava and Deuce because of their stubborn personalities. Occasionally I felt words were missing but wasn’t sure if it was portraying how they were speaking, their true dialect. There were a few times I got lost and was all, wait what?! and had to reread a paragraph. There were also a few times that I was all oh.my.god. did that just happen?! Throughout there is sex, heat, and attraction. There is also violence related to sex and that wasn’t always easy to read but it made sense in the context of the story. I was seriously on the edge of my seat.

This book is a page turner and I highly recommend it but be prepared because it is not for the faint of heart.
