What a seriously fantastic year! So many
excellent reads. My goal this year was 100 and I just made it (barely!). Two of
those were rereads but I read those babies front to back so they definitely
count. There were so many of these reads that made me feel, yell at my Kindle,
cry, laugh out loud, and just really got to me. I wanted to share my
favorites.
It was hard enough breaking down my
favorites so I am putting them in alphabetical order to share them.

Better When He’s
Bad by Jay Crownover
Excellent story and flow. Right from
the beginning all these little intriguing details were laid out making me want
more. Everything unfolded perfectly. I loved these very real and gritty
characters. There is so much detail and depth, I was completely pulled into
their complex lives and harsh reality. [Full Review]
Clipped wings
and Inked Armor by Helena Hunting
I had to include both because
you can’t have one without the other! There’s a cliffhanger at the end of book
one so both are a must. These stories were fantastic!
Hayden and Tenley are just so messed up and broken and I loved watching them
come together as the details of their past came to light. The pain of both their
pasts was very emotional to read. Nothing was ever as I expected and it made it
all that more appealing and intriguing. All the layers in this story and and the
feelings it elicited from me was off the charts.
Dirty Rowdy
Thing Christina Lauren
Finn and Harlow’s relationship is
fantastic. It made for this fun, flirty, intense, and dirty hot story. I loved
the story line, their growing relationship, how all the characters interact,
their strong friendships, their ups and downs, their openness and raw
vulnerability. I liked the dirty-tie-me-up sex and opening up to new things. I
loved it all! [Full Review]

in the sexy time department at all. This is a witty, entertaining story that has
bits of tension throughout. Perfect balance between those lighthearted and
serious moments. I laughed, cried, held my breath and loved every second of it.

I absolutely love this series! They
are all well rounded, full, detailed stories with excellent characters. Clay and
Julia are of the charts HOT! I loved learning all the ins and outs about them

Because no list is complete without
them! I loved these books as well and had to give them a shout out because they
really gotten under my skin.
It was so hard narrowing it down. I
tried to keep track of my favorites during the year but even at the end I
debated. I love reading and losing myself into the story – it’s really a
wonderful thing!
