Welcome! I’m Gretchen, the one-woman show behind About That Story. I am a reader, blogger, and reviewer. I started blogging in June 2013 after falling in love with the romance genre. I love books that make me feel and immersing myself in different worlds. I read a variety of romance, including Contemporary Romance, Paranormal Romance, and Romantic Suspense. I'm a fan of all kinds of tropes. Some of my favorites are enemies to lovers, grumpy heroes, single parents, and sports romance. All my reviews are spoiler-free.
- I’m one of those people who love Mondays (seriously! But Fridays are pretty fantastic too).
- I’m also one of those people who is a total morning person.
- I’m a huge fan of coffee (it’s probably what helps me be a morning person).
- I have a coffee mug addiction. They’re cute, what can I say!
- Popcorn is my favorite snack.
- If I ever misplaced my Kindle for more than 12 hours I’d order a new one, no question. I’d be lost without it!
- When I work, I listen to Pirates music (that is, the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtracks) and I've added the Bridgerton soundtracks into my rotation.
- I like to work out (for real!).
