Drew Evans is a winner. Handsome and arrogant, he makes multimillion dollar business deals and seduces New York’s most beautiful women with just a smile. He has loyal friends and an indulgent family. So why has he been shuttered in his apartment for seven days, miserable and depressed?
He’ll tell you he has the flu.

But we all know that’s not really true.

Katherine Brooks is brilliant, beautiful and ambitious. She refuses to let anything - or anyone - derail her path to success. When Kate is hired as the new associate at Drew’s father’s investment banking firm, every aspect of the dashing playboy’s life is thrown into a tailspin. The professional competition she brings is unnerving, his attraction to her is distracting, his failure to entice her into his bed is exasperating.

Then, just when Drew is on the cusp of having everything he wants, his overblown confidence threatens to ruin it all. Will he be able untangle his feelings of lust and tenderness, frustration and fulfillment? Will he rise to the most important challenge of his life?

Can Drew Evans win at love?

Tangled is not your mother’s romance novel. It is an outrageous, passionate, witty narrative about a man who knows a lot about women…just not as much as he thinks he knows. As he tells his story, Drew learns the one thing he never wanted in life, is the only thing he can’t live without.

5 out of 5 stars

Such a fantastic read! Tangled was a sexy, humorous story that I couldn't put down. I loved every second, I had a huge grin on my face and found myself laughing out loud!

Drew Evans is charming, arrogant, and flirty - a sexy player. There were times I really wanted to not like him and be mad at him but I just couldn't – I loved him to darn much! I loved his first person POV and the way the story was told going back and forth between present and past. It was entertaining and enlightening. I loved Kate and her tenacity and that she doesn’t take any crap. Drew and Kate had a big love-hate thing going on at the beginning that made their chemistry off the charts and gave a whole new meaning to verbal foreplay. So much sexual tension and then bam! they were hot! hot! hot! together. They're playful and have a wonderful connection – I kept thinking awwww and that’s so sweet. Love them!

I enjoyed the overall development of the story, great build up and pace. I loved the humor interlaced with the seriousness as well. Loved the guy talk with his friends and all the incite that was shared. The other characters were great too but Drew’s niece Mackenzie was priceless. I loved the Thanksgiving scene!

The ending really got to me. My poor heart, I could feel the tension. All I could think was poor Kate and poor, crazy Drew! I was on the edge of my seat with tears in my eyes, I couldn't read fast enough. Loved the growth and change in Drew. He and Kate are perfect. Loved this story!

If you want a highly entertaining, sexy read with the perfect mix of drama, this is it. 5 stars!
