January 2022 in Review

Happy February! I am so happy to be moving on from January... it felt like the longest month ever. At least I had some great books to keep me busy. There were some excellent new releases this past month that I'm looking forward to and I shared a few new reviews. Find all the details below.

review-recap
Juniper Hill by Devney Perry
Juniper Hill was fantastic! I loved Memphis and Knox, learning about them, where they were at in life, and watching them fall in love. This was a sweet and heartfelt story with just the right amount of emotion, drama, and heat mixed in. I enjoyed it all!

There's that moment when you finish a really incredible book when you just have to take a second to take a deep breath and absorb all your feelings because it was so tremendously good and you can't voice all the good it made you feel. You feel it in your soul. That’s what Things We Never Got Over did for me. I thought this was a truly exceptional story!

Thank you to Entangled Publishing for The Sweetheart Deal by Miranda Liasson, and the following authors for paperbacks of their books: Not the Marrying Kind by Kathryn Nolan, No Vacancy by Stephanie Rose, and Juniper Hill by Devney Perry.

My favorite way to reread books is to listen to them on audiobook. I feel like the story is completely new and fresh even though it's one I already know and love. In January, I listened Still Standing and started Forever Never.

things-to-note
I'm setting up my monthly recap a bit differently, sharing review recaps, new releases, what's coming soon, and pretty much whatever book goodness I want to. I'm happy with how it turned out but I'm sure I'll tweak it as the months go by.

In case you missed it, I posted my Favorite Romance Books of 2021 at the beginning of the month. Every year I feel blown away by the talent of authors and the stories they write. This past year was no exception. Be sure to check it out!

What books did you read in January? What are you looking forward to in February? Let me know!
