5 out of 5 stars
This story was absolutely amazing! It pretty much tore me apart and put me back together. It consumed me! I was lost to it, absorbed in it all. Completely anxiety ridden and on the edge of my seat. Well written and well crafted, it's honestly one of the best books I've read this year.
It starts right where book one leaves off and I pretty much held my breath right from the beginning. So many twists and turns and off the charts tension. I can't remember that's time a book stressed me out so much because I was so absorbed into it. Seriously, I could feel it in my skin.
Reeve and Emily are such intense characters, and they have a seriously crazy, volatile and passionate relationship. They made me frustrated, I rooted for them, I wanted to yell at them, it was just fantastic. The author did an amazing job making me feel like I was right there. I was just riddled with emotion feeling it all. And throw Amber into the mix, holy crap I was a mess. And I mean all that in a good way because I was just all in. I had to know everything. The drama, manipulation, jealousy. Everything had me hooked.
The build was amazing. Excellent writing and storyline with fascinating characters. It was dark, raw, gritty, and honest. As everything unraveled and unfolded, I couldn't read fast enough. I loved that edge of suspense that was happening. It was just so incredible. I was thrilled when the truth about Amber was discovered (and what happened to her… which probably makes me a bad person but whatever!). Even towards the end I was still stressed out because I couldn't imagine how it would play out but I thought everything ended perfectly.
This was just a breathtaking, intense and passionate story! Stellar read!

Just a heads up, First Touch and Last Kiss do need to be read in order. They are not standalone stories. I made sure to read them back to back because there I knew there would be a killer cliffhanger at the end of First Touch and frankly, I was just to impatient to wait, lol!. ;-)
“Wow! I don't even know what to say or how to describe all the emotions this story elicited from me. It was crazy, very intense, and sexual charged. I could not stop reading because I was completely fascinated by the story being laid out.”
