Review: Fly With Me (Wild Aces #1) by Chanel Cleeton

This was such an excellent introduction to a new series. I had so much fun reading it and am excited to see what’s in store for all the characters.

5 out of 5 stars

Fantastic read! This was just filled with so much heart, humor, and emotion, it was the perfect mix of everything I love. From that very first page I was all in!

I loved Jordan and Noah first meeting, it was sexy and playful and since they meet in Vegas, that instant connection they had was perfect. I loved the pull they had on one another and the anticipation I felt for the two of them to be together. I loved their flirting and playfulness. They were fantastic characters. I love how they find each other and seem to be in this impossible situation and all the ups and downs it entailed. I loved Jordan and her strength and her willingness to put herself out there and go with her heart even though it's scary. And Noah with his fighter pilot sexy ways, not playing games, putting it all out there, he made me melt. I loved learning their back stories and watching them come together through some ups and downs.

This was filled with so much humor, it was awesome. I went in having a good feeling I was going to like it but I had no idea I would be smiling and laughing so much. There is a nice amount of heat too and I love the build to those times. What's really great though is even though there was this instant connection, they have to slow down since they're making it work long distance, really getting to know each other. There is also a ton of emotion happening. Heart wrenching moments that had me holding my breath. There is drama and tension and I was on the edge of my seat as it all played out. It all just has the prefect build.

The writing was stellar with wonderful details. I've never read this author before and had no idea what to expect. I love feeling blown away because that's totally how I feel. The world melted away. This is the first in a series and I thought it was a fantastic introduction. I love all the characters that were introduced, the men in Noah's squad, bits of foreshadowing of what's to come. I am extremely excited to read more of these stories.

It was the best kind of read, it was filled with laughter and heat with genuine characters. The emotional moments tore me apart and then I got built back up. It was all just awesome!
