Tabitha Allen grew up in the thick of Chaos--the Chaos Motorcycle Club, that is. Her father is Chaos' leader, and the club has always had her back. But one rider was different from the start. When Tabby was running wild, Shy Cage was there. When tragedy tore her life apart, he helped her piece it back together. And now, Tabby's thinking about much more than friendship...
Tabby is everything Shy's ever wanted, but everything he thinks he can't have. She's beautiful, smart, and as his friend's daughter, untouchable. Shy never expected more than friendship, so when Tabby indicates she wants more--much more--he feels like the luckiest man alive. But even lucky men can crash and burn...

I thought this was an extremely well written story and I really liked the fact that it spanned out over time so you got the full impact of their relationship. I enjoyed the journey from beginning to end. There is such a build between Shy and Tabby that just deepens as the years go by. It made them so in tune to one other another and I love them together.
The majority of this book had my emotions in a heightened state. Sadness, anxiety, frustration and intensity. The first half had a sad vibe with Shy and Tabby’s back and forth and not being on the same page, then there was situation that Tabby had to deal with and it was heartbreaking.
I loved Shy in this. He had that controlling and demanding element to him but it was subtle and not over the top. How he was with Tabby as things progressed, he was just so sweet and there for her. It was interesting to really see Tabby grow up and figure her stuff out, she really grew on me. I really liked when Shy opened up. Him coping with things about his past had me choking up. They both had some serious monologuing and declarations to one another that really got to me and made my heart melt.
I like that we get to see more of the MC brothers as well as Tack and Tyra. There was a steady amount of conflict throughout that kept things moving forward. There was a nice amount of hotness but it wasn't over the top. I thought there was a section in the middle where Shy and Tabby’s back and forth started to get a bit warring but they're such an engaging couple I kept right on reading.
I enjoyed it all! Heck of a prologue and the epilogue was really sweet too. All their years of longing for one another really built into something amazing. Since this spans over time and so much went on its hard to cover everything but bottom line, this is an awesome biker book where I got lost in their world and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great read!
