If ever there was a series that I thought should be made into a movie (or in this case movies), this is it!
The Hard Ink Series by Laura Kaye is an action-packed, seductive adventure with strong and engaging characters. Not only are all the men honorable, sexy, and commanding but the women – I’ve got girl crushes on all of them – are fantastic. Laura Kaye writes a really strong female lead. I loved them all! Each story features a new couple but throughout the series there is an intriguing mystery-suspense element happening. Excellent writing filled with heartfelt moments and hot times. Loved all the male bonding and comradely, it made me melt. So many awesome moments throughout, including explosions and car chases, I was on the edge of my seat. Seriously, movie people get on this, please. It deserves to be on the big screen. This is romantic suspense at its best!
Note: This series is complete and all the books are standalones. Laura Kaye does a great job recapping the other books if you do read out of order so you won’t be lost. I personally would go in order. I say this because there is a fantastic build throughout for the overall storyline and by the time you get to the last book, with that great build, it’s epic! Also, Hard As Steel is a crossover story introducing a new series, The Raven Riders, but ties into the Hard Ink Series.

Laura is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of over twenty books in contemporary and paranormal romance and romantic suspense, including the Hard Ink and upcoming Raven Riders series. Growing up, Laura’s large extended family believed in the supernatural, and family lore involving angels, ghosts, and evil-eye curses cemented in Laura a life-long fascination with storytelling and all things paranormal. She lives in Maryland with her husband, two daughters, and cute-but-bad dog, and appreciates her view of the Chesapeake Bay every day.

Recommended Read. Either the series is complete and I’ve read them all or it’s an ongoing series and I am up to date with the latest release. No matter what, these will be books that I LOVE and HIGHLY recommend with characters that I just can’t let go. If it’s an ongoing series, I’ll update the appropriate page after the newest release has been read and reviewed.
