August was a super busy month for me and I didn’t get in as much reading time as I would have liked but I did get 7 new reviews posted… not to shabby! A lot of great reads and two new-me-me authors. So, it was busy but good. Check out my reviews below. :-)
Review: Just What I Needed (Need You #2)

Review: Close to You (Fusion #2)

This. Was. Awesome. I love it when a story leaves me smiling like a giddy fool! A super swoony hero doesn't hurt either. ;-)
Review: Grin and Beard It (Winston Brothers #2)
by Penny Reid
This was so extremely witty and entertaining to read. Such wonderful, endearing characters mixed with a great story. I loved it so, so much!
Review: An Indecent Proposal (The O’Malleys #3)

Cillian and Sloan’s story was fantastic. Excellent addition to the series. Loved it!
Review: For Better or Worse (The Wedding Belles #2)
by Lauren Layne
Excellent characters. Awesome story. Great build. Lots of humor. Great mix of emotion. A nice amount of hotness. A little drama. This story checked every box that I could hope for in an fantastic read. :-)
Helena Hunting announced that the third book in the Clipped Wings series, Fractures in Ink will release November 14. I am thrilled about this news. Clipped Wings and Inked Armor are favorites of mine and I’ve been eagerly anticipating the third book. Can’t wait!
Samantha Young revealed the cover for the second book in the Hart’s Boardwalk series, Every Little Thing. Check it out here.
I fee like my schedule has been slightly overloaded so I’ve been pulling back on accepting ARC’s. It’s so hard to say no because I’m pretty much “all the books!” lol! I have to be realistic though, there are only so many hours in a day. That being said, there are a few I’m kicking myself for not requesting. Let’s just file this under #readerproblems shall we?! ;-)
I’ve decided I’m posting my Recommended Read when I’m inspired to do so… which would be why you haven’t seen one. Hopefully I’ll have a new one to share soon.
School got off to a good start. We took a quick trip out of town to see family. And now we’re back to our regular schedule with school back in session…. I love the school schedule!
Happy September!
