The most beautiful man I've ever seen is the same one who can ruin everything.

The first time I lay eyes on Callan Walker, I know he’ll be trouble. With his smug grin, hot Aussie accent and thousand dollar shoes, he’s just the kind of rich guy who always gets what he wants.

And he wants two things: a night of sin, and my cooperation as he outmaneuvers his powerful mother to take control of his uncle’s estate.

I can’t afford either one. I’m the only thing standing between my little sister and the foster care system. He may have money and charm on his side, but I have something even more powerful -- pure desperation. This temp job at his mother’s company can become a full time job for me. It has to.

But when Callan’s eyes rake over my body, sometimes I forget my obligations. His piercing gaze finds the fun, optimistic girl I used to be and not the tired person I’ve become.

And it works--if only for a moment. Our night together was a mistake. I can't afford to get sucked into his high-powered family’s treachery. But the closer I get to Callan, the more layers I find beneath those expensive clothes. Though I can’t forget this is temporary. He’s temporary. I have too much to lose.

Too bad my foolish heart didn’t get the memo...

4 out of 5 stars

This was such a fun, sweet read. I loved how entertaining it was and the romance of it all as Callan and Grace really get to know each other and come together.

Callan and Grace were great characters. When they really start interacting with one another is when everything clicked into place for me and I was all in. I really liked Grace, she had a quiet strength about her that was inspiring. She loved and cared deeply. Callan was really sweet and I loved how much he cared for his uncle and fought to honor his wishes.

I loved the attraction Callan and Grace had and their cute flirting, they had such fantastic chemistry. They were challenging and fun and so much more than others perceived them to be. I liked them really getting to know one another and opening up. Those moments when they saw the other in a new light were so sweet. There’s a nice mix of heated and playful moments scenes in the mix as well as emotional ones giving it a well rounded feel.

There's as an interesting cast of characters in play. I thought Grace’s sister Olivia was awesome. Total teenager but also a lovable, funny girl that was full of personality. Callan’s mother was a piece of work, I love a well written villain. She was a bit extreme though and I found myself wondering why she was that way and wanted to know more about her.

The writing was really good and descriptive, I thought the story had a nice flow. I loved the dual POVs and how it switched back and forth within the chapters. The end was super angsty and drama filled. It ended nicely with all their loose ends tied up. That being said, new drama was introduced for another person so I would assume that will lead to the second story in the series (fingers crossed!)... and hopefully more details on the ruthless mother.

I really enjoyed this. Light, fun, playful, and sexy with very determined characters full of heart and love. Awesome read!
