Kiss the Girl (Naughty Princess Club #3) by Tara Sivec
A struggling antiques collector finds herself falling in love with a millionaire playboy; but can she ever be a part of his world?
Meet the Naughty Princess Club, a series from USA Today bestselling author Tara Sivec that brings readers to Fairytale Lane and the hilarity—and romance—that three women fall into once they decide to strut their stuff and bring on their own happily ever after.
While her friends have broken free of their insecurities, Ariel Waters is struggling to come out of her shell. Her ex-husband took away her voice and her self-confidence, and Ariel is drowning under a sea of debt to afford the alimony she has to pay him. She refuses to ever fall for a man’s charms again, and is determined to make her own way.
When her house and her beloved antiques are taken by the bank after too many missed payments, Ariel finds herself adrift until the infuriatingly charming Eric Sailor comes to her rescue. Although she can’t stand the millionaire playboy, Eric’s kindness and unconditional support reveal hidden depths and a love that Ariel never imagined she could find.
But there are outside influences who will stop at nothing to keep them apart; can Ariel and Eric weather the storm and find a way to be together?
5 out of 5 stars
Kiss the Girl was laugh-out-loud funny, sweet and empowering, I loved everything about it! This was everything I could have wanted and so much more. It's exciting and inviting with these amazing characters and it was just super fun to read.
I absolutely adored Eric and Ariel! They had this tumultuous and antagonistic relationship that was snarky, fun and sweet. I loved their bickering and Ariel’s comebacks. I loved their chemistry and simmering sexual tension. Ariel was so much more than I thought she'd be and I loved getting to know her. She's a bit mouthy and feisty but I loved seeing her softer side, it was awesome. Eric had to be the sweetest man ever, totally swoon worthy! Being there for Ariel as she worked things out, as she found her way to the strong woman she was meant to be. Their relationship was was sweet and sexy and explosive but it was also heartfelt and emotional.
Ariel, Cindy, and Belle. I loved them, their friendships, how they're their for each other and build each other up. There were so many empowering moments and I had this I am woman hear me roar feeling happening. It was so much more than a love story. It's about friendships, owning who you are and believing in yourself, being strong, people in, and surrounding yourself with goodness.
This was just so entertaining with this great humor that had me laughing my way through it. Tara Sivec has a knack for perfect comedic timing. I adored all the fairy tale tie-ins. They were so smartly done and I loved seeing those connections.
I couldn't have asked for more. The delivery, characters, humor (oh the humor!), the empowerment and love. I couldn't get enough. By the end, I was all kinds of warm and squishy. Excellent epilogue too! Loved every second!
