All Suzanne St. Michelle wants is an over-the-top, eggnog-induced holiday with her best friend in Credence, Colorado. But when her hoity-toity parents insist she come home for Christmas in New York, she blurts out that her sexy landlord is actually her boyfriend and she can’t leave him—Joshy loves Christmas. The more twinkle lights the better.

Rancher Joshua Grady does not love Christmas. Or company, or chatty women. Unfortunately for him, the chattiest woman ever has rented the cottage on his ranch, invited her rich, art-scene parents, and now insists he play “fake rancher boyfriend” in a production of the Hokiest Christmas Ever. And somehow…she gets him to agree.

Apparently, he’ll do anything to get his quiet life back. At least there’s mistletoe every two feet—and kissing Suzy is surprisingly easy. But in the midst of acres of tinsel, far too many tacky Christmas sweaters, and a tree that can be seen from space, he’s starting to want what he lost when he was a kid—a family. Too bad it’s with a woman heading back to New York before the ball drops…

4 out of 5 stars

This was so adorably sweet and entertaining with just the right amount of sexy and emotion mixed in. Awesome read!

Josh and Suzanne were wonderful! I am a sucker for a grumpy hero and Josh Grady definitely had that covered. I loved his gruffness, learning about him and his past, and watching him start to open up and heal. It could be tense and emotional, but it was also really fun and sweet. He had sexy rancher down for sure! I really liked Suzanne as well, trying to find herself and her way. The way Josh and Suzanne butted heads was fantastic, I loved their verbal sparring. These two could be stubborn, so watching them get to their HEA was exciting and frustrating all rolled into one. I loved when they opened up and the vulnerability and emotions came into play. I liked their building attraction and they had excellent chemistry.

The Trouble with Christmas was just an awesome story filled with entertaining scenes that had me smiling and cheering for Josh and Suzanne. The details were great and thought it was a well-rounded story and I really liked the dual POVs. I loved all the over the top Christmas elements and the joy it brought to the story. The townsfolk and secondary characters were awesome, adding even more enjoyment into the mix. I liked the foreshadowing for future couples and I am excited for what's to come in the series.

This was a great read and a wonderful addition to the Credence, Colorado series. It's a feel-good story that will leave you swooning! It was filled with healing and love and I really liked it.
