Holy awesomeness Batman! I loved Mo and Lottie, seeing everyone from the Rock Chick and Dream Man worlds, and being introduced to new characters for the upcoming Dream series. Quiet Man was a fantastic read!
Quiet Man (Dream Team #0.5/Dream Man #4.5) by Kristen Ashley
From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Kristen Ashley comes a new story in her Dream Man series…
Charlotte “Lottie” McAlister is in the zone. She’s ready to take on the next chapter of her life, and since she doesn’t have a man, she’ll do what she’s done all along. She’ll take care of business on her own. Even if that business means starting a family.
The problem is, Lottie has a stalker. The really bad kind. The kind that means she needs a bodyguard.
Enter Mo Morrison.
Enormous. Scary.
Quiet.
Mo doesn’t say much, and Lottie’s used to getting attention. And she wants Mo’s attention. Badly.
But Mo has a strict rule. If he’s guarding your body, that’s all he’s doing with it.
However, the longer Mo has to keep Lottie safe, the faster he falls for the beautiful blonde who has it so together, she might even be able to tackle the demons he’s got in his head that just won’t die.
But in the end, Lottie and Mo don’t only have to find some way to keep hands off until the threat is over, they have to negotiate the overprotective Hot Bunch, Lottie’s crazy stepdad, Tex, Mo’s crew of frat-boy commandos, not to mention his nutty sisters.
All before Lottie finally gets her Dream Man.
And Mo can lay claim to his Dream Girl.
**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you'll enjoy each one as much as we do.**
5 out of 5 stars
When the Rock Chick and Dream Man worlds collide, amazing
things happen! So entertaining, so sweet, so sexy. I loved Mo and Lottie!
She's full of life and he's quiet and gruff and I loved watching them come
together, how their sexual tension grew, how things exploded, and experiencing the
joy of them falling in love. All the details and depth packed a punch!
Mo and Lottie had a fantastic story. She's so outgoing, bold
and confident and he's super sexy, totally alpha, and an
amazingly good guy. There was such immediate chemistry I could feel in the
midst of this tense situation Lottie was in. I loved their first meeting and
the building attraction between them. These two were smokin' hot! Besides that
awesome heat, there was a lot of emotion happening too, it felt raw and real. I
loved learning about Mo and his demons, he had great character development. Lottie
was in the middle of a hard situation and I loved her strength but I also loved
when she was completely vulnerable and soft. Tensions were high, feelings were
running rampant, and it was just incredibly entertaining.
There were lots of people I love involved in this story. Tex
(who has got to be one of my most favorite characters KA has written), Smithie,
the Hot Bunch guys, plus Ren and Eddie, and all the commandos. I adore all these
men and their camaraderie but also the love and protectiveness they had for
Lottie, it was priceless. Of course, there are the Rock Chicks and some new
people thrown into the mix to keep it exciting. It was all super entertaining. I
loved meeting Mo’s friends and am super excited for the Dream series. The guys that were
introduced where awesome. I love how protective they were of Mo and their
interactions were with Lottie. There was a bit of foreshadowing in the epilogue
for the new series that made me want it asap!
Quiet Man is full of details and depth with
awesome characters, entertaining moments, love, heat, and emotion. I loved
every second!

My Reviews:
Quiet Man fits in at the end of the Dream Man series and was originally listed as book #4.5. That has since been updated and it's now (also) book #0.5 in the upcoming Dream series. It really is the perfect crossover, introducing-a-new-series type of book. It also mixes in the Rock Chick series. There are so many fantastic tie in's, I can't begin to say enough good things.
