Happy 2024! It's time to share my December 2023 in Review post. Just like that, it's over! It's been a great year overall, filled with lots of great reads. Find out about this month below.
Second Duke's the Charm (Her Majesty's Rebels #1) by Kate Bateman
Second Duke’s the Charm was an entertaining, sweet, and sexy story! I loved Tess and Justin and how their story unfolded with so many fantastic scenes and witty moments. It moved along at a good pace that was lively and quick and I found myself smiling while reading because it was so fun.
My Darling Bride by Ilsa Madden-Mills
My Darling Bride was a sweet, entertaining read filled with a good amount of emotion and angst. I liked Emmy and Graham, their ups and downs, and the want and need between them. I enjoyed them coming together.
The book stack above spells December! It was a fun challenge on Instagram.
Cleary my December was short and sweet in the book department. I'm not sure what happened but it was over in a blink and I hardly read anything. Our Christmas was wonderful however and I enjoyed family time so in the end, I'm fine with less book time.
Are you setting any goals for yourself? I am, but they're more like non-goals to read what I want when I want, and just have fun sharing the book love and blogging. No pressure! That's why I started this blog and that's what I'm going to continue to do.
I hope you all have an amazing 2024!
All the best,
Gretchen
