Book Review: Untamed by Elizabeth Lowell

I ran across this gem on Instagram and just knew I had to read it. A medieval romance? Yes, please. It's a period I always enjoy but don't read nearly enough of. Untamed was a great story that made for a fantastic series starter. I can't wait for the next one!

I had such a great time reading Untamed. It was fast-paced and exciting! I loved the medieval period, all the characters, the build, and the fiery back and forth between Dominic and Meg. It was entertaining and witty and I was hooked!

I loved learning all about Meg and Dominic and the curse she had. I loved the push and pull between them and their clever banter. This story was engaging and charming and I really enjoyed it. I liked them softening toward each other and really getting to know one another, which wasn’t always easy since there’s gossip, drama, distrust, and jealousy involved. There were so many wonderful scenes between Meg and Dominic as they worked it all out. I loved it when things started to get intimate between them, it was well done with passionate scenes that were beautifully written.

There’s a nice cast of characters with a lot of scenes and moving parts. I loved how it all was woven together. There was nice drama and action building into a fantastic ending. This is the first book in the Medieval series and I will definitely be continuing. This was a delightful romance that was incredibly fun to read, it flowed well, and there was a quick, steady pace that made it thrilling.
