About That Story... 12 Years Later
It's my blogiversary! 12 years ago, in 2013, I launched my About That Story blog and social media handles, and it feels like a minute ago and forever ago all at once. I decided to start a romance book blog because I wanted to share my book love, support authors I enjoyed, and connect with others who felt the same. I can honestly say that it has been an absolute pleasure doing just that. I’ve read so many amazing books, have written a ton of reviews, and connected with some of the most amazing people. It’s been a labor of love that’s for sure, a learn as I go kind of thing, but I wouldn’t change one thing.
I wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who has visited my blog or connected with me on Instagram and Facebook. I appreciate the support and kind comments, and just chatting with me about book goodness. I am very thankful for all the friendships I’ve made.
The books in the stack above are ones I still think about after all these years. Books that really stuck with me or made an impression for one reason or another. To this day, I would still recommend each and every one. The links below will take you to the book review (and with some, treat you to some of the first graphics I ever made).
Walk Through Fire by Kristen Ashley
Hard To Let Go by Laura Kaye
The Coppersmith Farmhouse by Devney Perry
Inked Armor by Helena Hunting
I was actually only trying to pick 12 books, but that was just laughable. There are way too many books that I have fallen in love with over the years. I know there are a ton that I missed, so let's just include all my physical books just in case, shall we?
Thank you again for being here. So many things have changed, but one thing is for sure: my love of romance books is still going strong (and I hope that never changes). They are the best escape from reality that I could ask for. Happily ever afters for the win!
All the best,
