Six new reviews in May, not bad! After the eleven I reached in April I’m not surprised there is less. Not bad though, not bad at all. I read my first books by Jennifer Probst and Laurelin Paige (which were great!), started a new Laura Kaye series, and continued on with two others. Definitely a good reading month.
Review: Dominated (The Enforcers #2)
by Maya Banks
This story starts right where book one ended and I swear I held my breath the first 20% of it! It was intense. It definitely pulled me in right from the start.

Review: Ride Hard (Raven Riders #1)
by Laura Kaye
This was an exciting read! There was one heck of an start to this story that immediately pulled me in. I had so much fun getting caught up in all the emotion and drama. Awesome story and excellent introduction to a new series.
Review: The Wedding Pact (The O’Malleys #2)
by Katee Robert
This was such a great story. I love the elaborate world that has been created. So much going on, I like the drama, the heat, and the different POV's. Great writing and details that really pull me in.
Review: Fixed On You (Fixed #1)
by Laurelin Paige
This was really, REALLY good. I honestly had no idea what to expect beyond the synopsis and it being recommended to me a ton of times. It was an awesome read!
Review: First Touch (First and Last #1)
by Laurelin Paige
Wow! I don't even know what to say or how to describe all the emotions this story elicited from me. It was crazy, very intense, and sexual charged. I could not stop reading because I was completely fascinated by the story being laid out.
Review: Everywhere and Every Way (Billionaire Builders #1)
by Jennifer Probst
This was such a sweet story. I'm so happy! Loved the characters, the fun bickering, the dogs, and the heat! Awesome read!
There were lots of new releases in May:
- Grin and Beard It by Penny Reid is LIVE! I loved Truth or Beard so I am really excited to read this one.
- Mister O by Lauren Blakely (love me some Lauren Blakely!)
- Smut by Karina Halle (this one looks so fun!)
- Wicked Heart by Leisa Rayven (the first two in the series, Bad Romeo and Broken Juliet were AMAZING so I have high hopes for Wicked Heart).
My Recommended Read for May was The Wild Season Series by Christina Lauren. They’re all must reads! I mentioned it in last months Review Recap, but in case you missed it, I am reducing this feature to once a month. :-)
As I type this, it’s officially summer break and I’ve got two of the three kids home. this pretty much means I’m hanging on for dear life and posting sporadically, lol! I’m all about ebb and flow and right now I’m in a serious state of ebb. Thanks for sticking with me!
AND something big is happening this month... my 3 year blogiversary. That’s huge!
Have a safe and happy summer!
