Let’s Talk About That Story: March 2017

ats-mar2017

Let’s talk about March because this month is seriously getting away from me. All the books, a busy every day life, and my oldest turned 23 (immediately making me feel super old!). Now we are in the middle of Spring Break dealing with goofy weather and I am longing for steady warmth. That’s rather crazy to say considering I live in Texas and come summer, it will be to darn hot to go outside. I like to call it, “the land of hot.” I feel pretty unfocused thanks to everything that I have going on and I feel like Doug from Up… squirrel! Without further ado, I bring you my March goodness… or madness depending on how you want to look at it, lol!

Funny thing about new releases, they don’t all catch my eye. My personal list of what I was looking forward too was actually pretty small. I know there were a ton of new releases out there and I am missing a lot that will end up on my TBR eventually but these are the new releases that caught my eye

Dirty Filthy Rich Men by [Paige, Laurelin] Blush for Me: A Fusion Novel by [Proby, Kristen] Every Little Thing (Hart's Boardwalk) by [Young, Samantha] The Deep End: The Honey Series by [Ashley, Kristen]

I am so excited for Dirty Filthy Rich Men by Laurelin Paige. After reading the free prequel novella, Dirty Filthy Rich Boys, I know this duet is going to be amazing! I am planning on waiting until closer to the release of Dirty Filthy Rich Love (which isn’t until September!) before I dive in however because I know there will be a wicked cliffhanger…. because that’s how Laurelin Paige rolls!

I loved the first two books in the Fusion series so I am ready to dive into Blush for Me by Kristen Proby. Now to work it into my schedule.

Every Little Thing by Samantha Young is my next read. After reading The One Real Thing I fell in love with all the characters and the town of Hartwell and am excited to read more. Find my review for The One Real Thing HERE.

The Deep End by Kristen Ashley is live! This one might not be for everyone but I enjoyed it. I found it all fascinating and extremely – put down the Kindle and walk away and take a cold shower – HOT! Read my full review of The Deep End HERE.

Let’s talk about all the awesomeness that is catching my eye and has recently been added to my TBR.

Rough & Tumble (Haven Brotherhood, #1) Hell on Wheels (Black Knights Inc., #1)

Rough & Tumble by Rhenna Morgan and Hell on Wheels by Julie Ann Walker have both caught my eye thanks to my awesome Twitter friends (wonderful enablers that they are, lol!). Both of these stories are out and available now.

Keeping It Hot (Breakfast in Bed #1) Anchor Me: Stark Trilogy Book 4 (Stark Series)  Eye Candy (Real Love) Hot for the Fireman

Loved the synopsis for Keeping it Hot by Sydney Landon. Anchor Me by J. Kenner because more Nikki and Damien baby! Heck ya! I have quickly fallen in love with the works of Jessica Lemmon so I had to add Eye Candy to my TBR. And hello hot fireman! So I added Hot for the Fireman by Gina L. Maxwell to my list too. Bring on the good reads!

I just finished listening to Release Me by J. Kenner. It. Was. Awesome. I am a big fan of the Stark Trilogy but listening to in in audio, OH MY. That hot goes to a whole new level of hot. *fans self* Now I’m waiting for Claim Me to be available from my library so I can continue on with Nikki and Damien’s story. I’m doing a reread of the first two so I can read Complete Me and be ready for Anchor Me.

If you’ve not read this series, I highly recommend it. Release Me is the first book and they need to be read in order.

I don’t know about you but I’ve felt off so far this March. I blame it on the weather, my sinuses, and allergies (lucky me, I’ve been blessed with the trifecta, lol!). Seriously, the back and forth of hot and cold makes my head feel like a barometer and I just can’t stay on top of things. Right now we are in the middle of Spring Break so hopefully (HOPEFULLY!!!) after it’s over I can start feeling like normal again.

I have a Pinterest addiction. True story. I am not ashamed. My favorite boards (and where I seem to pin the most too) are Books! I can’t get enough!, Coffee! Coffee! Coffee!, just because it makes me smile, and enough said. The last two are a bit more snarky. You know the stuff you’d like to say out loud but since you’re a full grown adult you keep your mouth shut, lol! They’re fun! They all get updated regular because…. Pinterest addiction! I have other boards too so be sure to check them out. Follow me HERE.

Alrighty. That’s all she wrote folks. Have a great month, be kind, play nice with others, and read lots of books!

What books are on YOUR radar? How is your March going? Let me know!
