It’s that time again! Time to recap the books I reviewed in February. I shared 9 new reviews this past month. I read three new-to-me authors and am excited for more from them. I also read several books from some of my favorite authors. It was an excellent month indeed.
Review: Dominate Me (Luminous #1) by Stacey Lynn
Amazon | Barnes and Noble | iTunes
I was in the mood for a hot read and Dominate Me had just landed on my Kindle so I decided I'd give it a try. I've not read this author before and had no idea what to expect. New fan, right here! This was so much more than a hot read (don't get me wrong, it was way hot!) but more than that it was an incredible story with these fantastic characters with real depth and emotion and I loved every single second of it. Under Pressure (Body Armor #1) by Lori Foster
Amazon | Barnes and Noble | iTunes
This was an intriguing and entertaining romantic suspense story. I enjoyed the overall storyline and the characters. Leese and Cat were both likable and they had a very instant connection. I liked Cat’s persistence and flirting with Leese and Leese trying to hold back considering the circumstances that they were involved in. They had a lot of fun moments together! [Full review]
The King of Bourbon Street (NOLA Nights #1) by Thea De Salle
Amazon | Barnes and Noble | iTunes
I loved every single thing about this! The King of Bourbon Street was a fantastic introduction to a seriously smoking hot new series. Loved all the dirty, kinky naughtiness. Add in the fact that it was fun and entertaining (seriously! so funny with the best internal dialogue!), I couldn't get enough! [Full review]
Park Avenue Prince by Louise Bay
Amazon | Barnes and Noble | iTunes
Sweet, sexy, and entertaining with these likable and endearing characters. I had a hard time putting it down. [Full review]
Full Contact (Redemption #3) by Sarah Castille
Amazon | Barnes and Noble | iTunes
Awesome story. Fantastic characters. Ultra hot sex. Drama and passion. Loved this. Devoured it! [Full review]
Royally Matched (Royally #2) by Emma Chase
Amazon | Barnes and Noble | iTunes
This was phenomenal. I didn't think it could better than Drew (Tangled) but then there was Jake (Sustained). And now, Henry. He dethrones them all! [Full review]
The Hot One by Lauren Blakely
Amazon Kindle | Barnes and Noble | iTunes
This was just so fun and sweet and swoony. I love Lauren Blakely’s style, she always pulls me in. The Hot One was another fantastic read! [Full review]
Dirty Filthy Rich Boys (Dirty Duet #0.5) by Laurelin Paige
This novella was a fantastic introduction to the Dirty Duet series. Awesome and intense start! Seriously intriguing with compelling characters. I want to know all the things about Sabrina, Donavan, and Weston. Fantastic writing, I'm all in. I can't wait for more! [Full review]
The Bastard Billionaire (Billionaire Bad Boys #3) by Jessica Lemmon
Amazon | Barnes and Noble | iTunes
What a wonderful, sexy heartfelt story! I've wanted more Eli since I met him in book one, The Billionaire Bachelor, and I am so happy with the outcome. Excellent addition to the series! [Full review]
Lots of new releases this month! The Cad and the Co-Ed by L.H. Cosway and Penny Reid, Reckless Hearts by Heather Van Fleet, Seeking Mr. Wrong by Natalie Charles, Tempt Me by J. Kenner, Ruthless by Gina L. Maxwell, Pucked Off by Helena Hunting, Nine Kinds of Naughty by Jeanette Grey, Hometown Cowboy by Sara Richardson, and Royal Affair by Parker Swift. Plus, several of the books I reviewed in February were new releases as well.
I shared two awesome covers! Buns by Alice Clayton (this one might need to becoming my new phone wallpaper, lol!) and Black Tie Optional by Ann Marie Walker. Now to count down to their releases.
This past month I also participated in a blog tour with some blogging friends. In case you missed it, my book boyfriend was Cletus Winston from Beard Science by Penny Reid. You can check out that post and learn some fun facts about Cletus HERE.
I actually read more books than I thought I was going too. I never have an actually plan, just a general idea so I honestly have no idea how I pulled off 9 books!
Sometimes I’m just extra thankful for what I do. Being able to read awesome books, connect with great people, and share with all of you. It’s a wonderful thing. I was definitely feeling all of that in February. It was a good month to say the least.
