Everyone knows the girl is off limits. But it's so good to be bad.
There's this girl...

Heidi and I have been trading hungry looks all year, and everything she does makes me smile. But I don't do girlfriends, and I certainly can't get involved with the league commissioner's daughter. I need shots on goal, not a hookup and a widely misunderstood paparazzi photo.
Can I resist her, though? The way she teases me should be a game penalty for interference with my libido.

There's this guy...
Jason wants me, but he won't admit it. That man looks at me the way a hockey player eyes the lunch buffet after practice--and I love it.
But when victory is finally within my grasp, I blow it and humiliate myself. Even then I can't even avoid him--as the team intern, I'm in constant view of his hard body and cocky smile.
I need another chance. Jason Castro is about to learn the true meaning of an overnight sensation.

5 out of 5 stars

I loved, loved, LOVED this! It was fun and flirty and oh so sexy! Overnight Sensation was a well rounded story that was entertaining and sweet with the perfect emotional movements mixed in. Jason and Heidi's personalities were infections and I couldn’t get enough of them!

Jason Castro is a grumpy sweetheart and I loved everything about him. Heidi Pepper was awesome. She is a go-getter of a firecracker full of spunk and I loved her determined attitude. Together they were amazing! I loved the build to their relationship, their chemistry, and heat. They had this great push and pull happening that had me hooked. Jason was just the sweetest, he totally made me melt. Heidi was funny when dealing with his grumpiness at times which brought a great amount of humor to the story. There are issues both Heidi and Jason are dealing with and I liked the dilemmas presented and what they brought to the story. It was entertaining and fun for sure but it was also laced with a wonderful bit of heartfelt moments as Jason worked through some of his issues.

There is a great cast of characters from the Brooklyn Bruisers team and I loved getting to see all the guys, meet some new ones, and get more details on some others. I loved getting some insight on Silas and I can’t wait for his story.

This is one of those stories where I was just excited about everything I was reading, totally immersed into the characters lives and loving every second. It was super entertaining, light in the angst and drama department but just enough to keep you on your toes. There was a great flow to the story and the timing was perfect. Honestly, I was just hooked on these awesome characters, excited to see their relationship grow, them to work through their issues, and get there HEA. It was a delight to read!
