Handle With Care was everything I could have wanted. Lincoln and Wren were awesome and I loved getting to know the man behind all that gruffiness. Fantastic story!
Handle With Care (Shacking Up #5) by Helena Hunting
Release Date: August 27, 2019
HE WANTS TO LOSE CONTROL.
Between his parents’ messed up marriage and his narcissistic younger brother, Lincoln Moorehead has spent the majority of his life avoiding his family. After the death of his father, Lincoln finds himself in the middle of the drama. To top it all off, he’s been named CEO of Moorehead Media, much to his brother’s chagrin. But Lincoln’s bad attitude softens when he meets the no-nonsense, gorgeous woman who has been given the task of transforming him from the gruff, wilderness guy to a suave businessman.
SHE’S TRYING TO HOLD IT TOGETHER.
Wren Sterling has been working double time to keep the indiscretions at Moorehead Media at bay, so when she’s presented with a new contract, with new responsibilities and additional incentives, she agrees. Working with the reclusive oldest son of a ridiculously entitled family is worth the hassle if it means she’s that much closer to pursuing her own dreams. What Wren doesn’t expect is to find herself attracted to him, or for it to be mutual. And she certainly doesn’t expect to fall for Lincoln. But when a shocking new Moorehead scandal comes to light, she’s forced to choose between her own family and the broody, cynical CEO.

Loved this so much! Handle With Care was such a fantastic story filled with humor and love, heat, and so much emotion. It's one of those stories I couldn't put down because I was so in love with the characters and couldn't wait for them to get to their HEA. It was a fantastic ride!

Wren and Lincoln were awesome. From their very first meeting,
I was all in. The antagonism between the two was so fun and there’s a great
attraction happening. It was so entertaining, sexy and playful. I loved
learning who they were and discovering their histories as the story evolved. I
had so many questions about their secrets and all the drama and I loved finding
out all the details and the build to get there. I also loved the bits of angst,
their chemistry, and the serious sexual tension between the two. When that tension
explodes, total hotness!
This was just exciting for me to read. I loved Wren and her
tenacity and how she didn't put up with anything. I loved that she was tough
and could really hold her own. Now Lincoln, he was this gruff guy with a
serious chip on his shoulder and I felt so bad for him, I could feel that pain.
He was in a tough situation but all those moments to get him to the other side
were great. I loved how other characters from previous stories are brought in
and mentioned as well. Armstrong made me crazy but somehow, he's this outrageous
misogynistic character I love to hate since his behavior is so over the top.
I thought the writing was great. There is a nice flow and I loved
the humor. I adore the fact that this was dual POV, I loved their voices and
perspectives. This was just fantastic. It was filled with humor yes, which was
awesome. But I really loved all the emotion that happened and healing. From
start to finish this was awesome. Loved it!
