September 2019 Book Review Recap

Hello October! September was a pretty quiet month for me reading-wise but with all the new releases to look forward to in October, I feel a book binge coming on. I did read some awesome books this past month so be sure to check them out below.

Heidi's Guide to Four Letter Words by Tara Sivec and Andi Arndt

Lover Reborn is another amazing story in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. I seriously can't get enough of this world. Each and every book is filled with so much depth. There's love, hope, fighting, and heat… this had it all! [Full Review]

The Price of Scandal (Bluewater Billionaires) by Lucy Score

The Price of Scandal was an incredibly entertaining read. It was 100% fun with all these crazy situations that were playing out. It was fast paced, flirty, and sexy! I enjoyed the overall storyline and had a great time reading it. [Full Review]

Lover Unleashed (Black Dagger Brotherhood #9) by J. R. Ward

I finished Rock Chick Revolution (my review). I think Ally is my favorite Rock Chick. I loved every single second. Up soon is Daisy's story, Rock Chick Reawakening. 

I have officially listened to an audiobook where I haven't read the book first. Crazy right? If you've read my blog before, you know that I always read before I listen but in this case, I decided to jump right in. I had heard so many fantastic things about Heidi's Guide to Four Letter Words by Tara Sivec and Andi Arndt that I had to give it a try. It was so hysterically funny and I loved it. I am so glad I stepped outside of my comfort zone and tried something new. Read my review HERE.

I feel like I listened to way more audiobooks this month than physically reading books. After Ally and Heidi, I started listening to the Dream Man series... and then proceeded to finish the first three and and ending the month listening to Motorcycle Man. I see more Chaos in my future! As mentioned in previous monthly recaps, we've been renovating our bathroom. This is where I feel like I should share a long rant about how long things are taking and fighting to get the job done right but it wouldn't be pretty and I'd be repeating myself a lot so I'll spare you. The short version, we're still not done... but almost. I'm a very organized person and don't like a mess or clutter so having things so out of order has totally thrown me off balance. This would be why I didn't get a lot of reading done, I just can't concentrate with so much going on... and so much crap everywhere! So, there you go. Hopefully, October will be better (and the bathroom will be completed). Fingers crossed!
