December 2022 in Review

December went by in a flash! Seriously, it was crazy busy for me but amazing nonetheless. I read zero books this month but I did manage to add several to my TBR. Be sure to check out some awesome December releases and what you can look forward to in January.

   

   

   

  

My favorite way to reread books is to listen to them on audiobook. I feel like the story is completely new and fresh even though it's one I already know and love. In December, I listened to the following favorites:

How cute are these fun, bookish gifts I got from my kids for Christmas? I totally got teary-eyed when I opened them. The Wood Book Coasters are from Barnes and Noble and the When I Think About Books I Touch My Shelf Glass and Bookshelf Heart Ornament can be found on Amazon. I can guarantee you the ornament will be hanging in my office year-round! 

I was super excited to read Smoke and Steel by Kristen Ashley and The Lone Wolf's Rejected Mate by Cate C. Wells in December but major (yet awesome!) life events for my family got in the way and it didn't happen. Add in Christmas prep and shopping on top of that and I barely had time to breathe, let alone read, but it was worth it. I think the last time I haven't read for that long was before I started blogging over 9 years ago. Here's to my January being booked! (see what I did there?)
