Tessa Dare always knows how to bring a smile to my face and she did just that with A Lady by Midnight. This was such an entertaining read with likable characters and it made for a wonderful addition to the series.

A Lady by Midnight was an absolute delight! It
was sweet and entertaining with just the right amount of heat. The story was wonderful
and I liked the characters. It was fun and lively and moved at a good pace. I
had a great time reading it!
I loved Kate and Samuel and learning about them and their
past connection. I like how it built to those details, when it was revealed, it
was exciting. I loved their chemistry, how she pushed his buttons, and he
fought his feelings. I enjoyed watching them grow and change and learn to trust
one another. Kate and Samuel were sweet together, there were a lot of entertaining
scenes between them. There was also a fake engagement and an adorable dog in
the mix which was a nice touch.
This was light and fun and just what I needed. It
wasn’t super in-depth but had just enough details to keep me hooked. I thought
this was a charming read and was thrilled when they got to their HEA. This is a wonderful
addition to the Spindle Coves series and I can't wait for the next one.
