4 out of 5 stars

Honor’s Splendour was a wonderful story with fantastic characters. I immediately felt pulled in and captivated. I had a hard time putting it down and returning to real life because I was excited to find out what would happen next. This was a truly great read!

Madelyn and Duncan were incredible. I loved her strength and courage and his quiet, sweet alpha ways. I loved how they met and how Madelyn showed who she was right from the start, she had such a big heart. I loved how Duncan was captivated by that heart and her pureness. There were so many delightful scenes between them with fun humor woven into the drama and intensity. I adored the playfulness and the banter involved. I loved their walls coming down, feelings growing, and watching them fall in love.

There was an excellent cast of characters. I loved the bonds Duncan had with his soldiers and his family and how that grew over the course of the story. I liked his sister and the healing she gained thanks to Madelyn. There were so many different dynamics involved that I liked and I felt they all really added to the story.

I am loving Julie Garwood and how she weaves a magical tale full of heart, hope, and love. I feel like these characters were truly brought to life. This was an enjoyable story with super entertaining scenes, some sweet ones, and a good amount of drama. I was excited the entire time and was thrilled with the outcome.
