Prey for Me was a spicy and intense story that
took me on a wild ride and had me hooked! I loved learning all about Caine
and Margot’s past and the depth of their trauma. I loved the bits of suspense
that were added and how it all played out. I found this to be an
exciting, incredibly steamy read with intriguing characters. I couldn’t get
enough!
After meeting Margot and Caine in the first book, I couldn’t
wait for their story. I loved learning their history together and seeing
Caine's utter devotion and slightly stalker tendencies for her. I loved their
flirty banter and the connection they shared and how it grew. I enjoyed Margot’s
self-deprecating humor as she fought her feelings and Caine’s pursuit of her. They both had things from their past that they had to work through, while drama
played out in the present. I liked the drama, it was subtle but flowed well in
the story, and I love how it intensified things. I love how protective Caine was
of her. When it came to the sexy times, these two are beyond hot and a lot of different
kinks are explored. They were all consensual, but heed those content warnings
the author gives, because holy mother!
This is a great series! It’s a bit dark and twisted, full
of kinky sexcapades and entertaining scenes that make for a nice break from
reality. If you want a thrilling and intense story that brings the
heat, this is definitely it! I had a fantastic time reading this!
