I purposely picked this book up because I wanted to read
something steamy. Having read the Wicked Horse series and a few of the Wicked
Horse Vegas books, I knew what I was going to get and was not disappointed. This
was an off the charts, smoking hot, entertaining fast-paced read! I liked
the characters and the story and had a great time reading it.
First of all, this sucker is cold-shower-inducing-hot. Like,
flames were coming out of my Kindle. I liked the characters and loved that it was
from three different POVs. I felt it was clear from the start who the main guy is with Avril so
there isn't really a love triangle happening, though there is definitely some
threesome action. Just three really good, close friends, that take that friendship
a little farther as feelings of love happen for two of them. There’s some mild
drama, a bit of emotion, and a whole lot of heat happening.
I liked the characters. Dane had some things he needed to
work out and I though it was presented well. Avril had some stuff
she was going through as well and I liked how she was dealing with it, stepping
outside of her shell, trying new things, and embracing a newfound freedom.
Andrew was a sweetheart and I liked that he was pushing his boundaries and
putting himself out there. I liked their friendship and dynamic. It made for
some pretty awesome scenes - in and out of the bedroom.
The writing was really good. It wasn’t super in depth but there was good character development, I liked the evolution of the
characters, and really enjoyed the overall storyline… and all the heat. That
want and need, and all the sexy had me hooked. If you want a steamy story
that’s not too taxing and loves a good threesome, this is your read!
