Stone Princess was an exceptional story and fantastic addition to the Clifton Forge series! It was entertaining, exciting, and had me on the edge of my seat. You won't want to miss this one!
Stone Princess (Clifton Forge #3) by Devney Perry
Presley Marks has just become a cliché: the jilted bride. Wearing a white dress, standing in front of her friends and family, she announces that her fiancé—according to his text—has forgotten about the wedding.
Humiliated and angry, she hides from the world in the mundane routine of her life. Working at the Clifton Forge Garage isn’t glamorous, but it’s safe from the spotlight.
At least it was, until Shaw Valance comes to town.
The notorious Hollywood actor is starring in a movie based on the town’s infamous murder. When he’s not on set, Shaw hovers at the garage, watching as they build his custom motorcycle and irritating her with his handsome smile. He was supposed to leave once filming wrapped and go back to his fancy life, not buy the house next door.
But Shaw might regret that purchase once Presley’s ex-fiancé returns, bringing with him a war between old rivals that could burn both their houses down.

Stone Princess was exceptional! It had everything I love in a story. It was entertaining and sweet and gritty and real. I loved the humor, emotion, and drama. I loved the build, the heat, and all the characters. I couldn’t get enough!

This story was incredibly exciting to read. I was
immediately caught up in Presley right from the start, all her feelings pulling
me in. It's tense and angst-filled. I felt for her but I loved her strength and
how she moved on from her past. I loved her and Shaw meeting and the tension
between them mixed with her snark and attitude. There was some seriously
awesome antagonistic banter happening. I loved the build to her softening,
opening up, and spending time with Shaw. Shaw was the sweetest! I loved his wit
and charm. I instantly loved him and understood what he wanted to accomplish
with the movie and his passion for it. There were so many great moments between
them that I enjoyed. There’s also an incredible building heat that just simmers
and then bam! So freaking hot! I thought they both had fantastic character
development and there was a great pace to learning their histories.
It flowed so well with these really great details making
the story rich and full. I loved seeing all the characters from previous
stories and getting updates and meeting some new ones too. This world and these
characters the author has created is wonderful. There's drama and love, a lot
of passion and heat, but so much growth and healing. I truly loved an element
from Presley's past that's brought to the present and how it all worked out. That
being said, I'm super excited for the next book, Noble Prince.
Hands down this is a new favorite and it's a toss-up which book in the series I love most so far. They're each unique and I pretty much inhale them. A thrilling story that's not to be missed!

My realtor would have earned a higher commission if she had mentioned that the woman who lived next door was Presley Marks. “Isn’t this a surprise?”
“Is it?” Presley asked, frowning as I descended my steps and crossed the lawn, meeting her in her driveway. She raised a dark blond eyebrow. “Because it sort of feels like stalking.”
I chuckled. “I swear I had no idea you lived next door.”
But what a bonus. I wouldn’t have to make excuses to stop by the garage to see her. She could tear that insurance waiver to shreds. Presley had to know I didn’t give a damn about that bike they were building for me.
“You bought this house?”
“Yeah.” I reached for the grocery bags she had in her hands. “Here, let me help.”
She twisted away. “I’ve got them.”
“Come on.” I stepped forward and she took a step back. Wait, did she really think I was stalking her? “I’m just trying to help. I mean, I’ll probably start writing down your daily schedule so I can make sure our paths cross at least once a day. But that’s normal, right? For stalkers?”
“Are you being funny?”
My smile flattened. “I guess not.”

As of September of 2021, this series was rebranded and the covers were changed. The original series name of Tin Gypsy (with the skull covers) has been renamed, Clifton Forge. The first book, Steel King is the new title for Gypsy King. All the stories remain the same.
I did my best to update the series name and first book title in all the appropriate places where I was able to but the old skull covers will show up in a lot of images. Please note the change. Thank you!
