June was a fantastic month. I read several amazing books, started a new series, added way too many books to my TBR, and celebrated my 10-year blogging anniversary. Here's to staying cool in July and reading some incredible books!
Perfect Together by Kristen Ashley
Perfect Together was a beautiful, raw, and real story filled with heart-wrenching moments, healing, and love and I adored it all. It was an emotion-filled second chance romance about wonderful, strong-willed, and broken characters and their journey of reconnecting, facing hard truths, and coming out on the other side. I found it completely captivating and thought it was a fantastic read.
A Love Catastrophe by Helena Hunting
A Love Catastrophe was a cute, totally entertaining story filled with awesome scenes, laugh-out-loud moments, and some emotional ones too. I liked the characters and the dual POVs, the adorable moments with the animals, and watching Miles and Kitty come together. It was a fast-paced, easy read that I absolutely enjoyed. It's in His Kiss (Bridgertons #7) by Julia Quinn
It’s in His Kiss was another super entertaining story in the Bridgerton series. Hyacinth and Gareth were a delight! I loved their chemistry and banter and the fun little mystery mixed in. I had a great time reading this.
After the Climb (River Rain #1) by Kristen Ashley
After the Climb was a fantastic second-chance romance! The characters were exceptional and I loved all the emotion, healing, and hope woven in. I liked the depth, world-building, and different POVs. I felt invested the entire time and never wanted to put it down. I thought this story was an excellent introduction to the River Rain series and can’t wait for more.

About That Story, 10 Years Later
June 17th was my 10-year blogiversary. It came and went with little fanfare because I was lost in a book (because of course I was!) and completely forgot to make a post. It's been a wonderful 10 years. I have read some seriously amazing books, made some great book friends, and have an outlet where I get to share my love of romance. Things have changed for me and the book world but I'm still here, doing my thing, reading what I want, when I want, and sharing pretty much in the same way. I appreciate everyone who visits my blog, interacts with me on social media, and comments on both. That connection is just as important to me as the books and I am very grateful. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support.
All the best,
Gretchen
