I had a great time reading about Hyacinth and Gareth, these two were so fun and charming together and I loved the adventure they were on. It's in His Kiss was totally entertaining and a great addition to the series.

HYACINTH’S STORY
Meet Our Hero . . .
Gareth St. Clair is in a bind. His father, who detests him, is determined to beggar the St. Clair estates and ruin his inheritance. Gareth’s sole bequest is an old family diary, which may or may not contain the secrets of his past . . . and the key to his future. The problem is—it’s written in Italian, of which Gareth speaks not a word.
Meet Our Heroine . . .
All the ton agreed: there was no one quite like Hyacinth Bridgerton. She’s fiendishly smart, devilishly outspoken, and according to Gareth, probably best in small doses. But there’s something about her—something charming and vexing—that grabs him and won’t quite let go . . .
Meet Poor Mr. Mozart . . .
Or don’t. But rest assured, he’s spinning in his grave when Gareth and Hyacinth cross paths at the annual—and annually discordant—Smythe-Smith musicale. To Hyacinth, Gareth’s every word seems a dare, and she offers to translate his diary, even though her Italian is slightly less than perfect. But as they delve into the mysterious text, they discover that the answers they seek lie not in the diary, but in each other . . . and that there is nothing as simple—or as complicated—as a single, perfect kiss.
4 out of 5 stars
It’s in His Kiss was another super entertaining
story in the Bridgerton series. Hyacinth and Gareth were a delight! I loved
their chemistry and banter and the fun little mystery mixed in. I had
a great time reading this.
Hyacinth is incredibly spirited and I loved her and her
vibrant, bold self. I liked Gareth a lot and enjoyed learning about his past. I
liked how Gareth would challenge her and how they matched wits. There were a
lot of witty scenes when they were together thanks to their back-and-forth verbal
sparring and barbs. I liked the development of their relationship and their growing
feelings as Gareth works through things from his past and they try to search
for treasure.
This was an exhilarating and lively story that moved at a
good pace. I liked seeing the relationship that Hyacinth had with her
mother and how involved Lady Danbury was with everything. Lady D is one of my
favorite characters. I loved the connection she and Hyacinth had and that Gareth
was her grandson. I was missing all the Bridgerton siblings and the humor they
bring but Hyacinth and her busy mind helped fill that need for the most part. I
liked the epilogue well enough but was left a bit wanting since something was
left unresolved. Thank goodness the second epilogue made up for it!
I really enjoyed this and thought it was exciting to read. It
was really fun with great moments, a bit of emotion, and a nice amount of heat. If
you’re a fan of the series then it’s definitely worth the read.
