synopsis_thumb2_thumb
A new winter holiday, enemies-to-lovers romance, from the undeniably funny and always spicy, USA Today bestselling author, Meghan Quinn.

Living in a year around Christmas town has it's drawbacks. The caroling, the decorations, the insanely cheery spirit, it never disappears. It's why I like to hibernate away in my cave--I mean house--keeping a healthy distance from the holly jolly spirits.

And all was going according to plan until my nemesis, Storee Taylor, moved in next door to care for her Aunt Cindy. Without blinking, she turned my simple world into a real nightmare-before-Christmas, especially when she decided to enter the town Christmas Kringle contest - which she was determine to win.

Well guess what? Over my cold-hearted body.

There was no way I was going to let her win, not after the history we'd shared.

So despite my promise to myself of never participating in the sickening Christmas season, I entered the competition as well. That's right, I planned on beating Storee at her own game by pretending this grump’s heart grew three sizes this season.

And it was working until feelings between us started heating up.
We pretended to date.
We kissed.
And well, sparks flew from there.

Which led to one explosive night involving Christmas lights, the competition, and a ladder. Don't let me convince you who stole Christmas, I think you need to find out for yourself . . .

5 out of 5 stars

How My Neighbor Stole Christmas was sexy, holiday entertainment that had me laughing out loud. This book made me so unbelievably happy and I couldn't get enough. From the bickering and verbal sparring to the stolen glances and candy canes, I loved every single thing about it.

Cole and Storee were THE BEST! I loved that moment they reconnected as adults, there were snarky comments and awkwardness and it was absolutely hilarious. I loved learning about Cole and his charmingly grumpy self, his past, and the crush he had on Storee in his youth. Storee was adorable and I loved that she said what was on her mind. I loved learning about her life and what happened the last time she visited her aunt. I loved them both growing throughout the story and figuring out what they really wanted from life.

Cole and Storee are thrown together into a competition and so much goodness happens. I’m talking laugh-out-loud scenarios and entertaining moments that had me cracking up. I loved them battling it out and how their helpers added to the hilarity. I loved the fake dating aspect between Cole and Storee and when the fake started to turn real, it was comical and touching all at once. Their chemistry was amazing and there is definitely a good amount of sexy mixed in. I will never think about a candy cane the same way again.

I loved the storytelling and build, and how the chapters were structured, and thought the use of a narrator was absolute perfection. And when the narrator added an extra two cents, it was so freaking funny. The characters involved were awesome. From the townspeople to Storee’s aunt and her sister, to Cole’s best friend Max, they all had me giggling. The banter between Cole and Max was everything! I also loved how the character names paralleled The Grinch Who Stole Christmas and all the exciting connections.

This book had a perfect ending and everything leading up to that point was a delight! Besides all the fun, there were several heartfelt moments that had me choking up as well. It was sweet, witty, and steamy and I loved it all!

excerpt
She points her shaky finger at me. “It is on, Connor. It is so on. Watch your back, because I’m coming for the title.”

“It’s Cole,” I virtually bark. “And if anyone needs to watch their back, it’s you.”

“Ooo, awesome comeback.” She rolls her eyes. “See you around . . . Connor.”

And then she takes off toward Cindy’s house.

“I never should have walked you home,” I call out.

“Trust me, it was more unpleasant for me. By the way, you have hot chocolate on your upper lip.”

Then she slips into her house while I quickly wipe at my mouth, most likely falling for her trick.

Well . . . it’s official; she is enemy number one. This only makes me more determined to do everything in my power to make sure she doesn’t earn the Christmas Kringle crown.
