I was excited to start the Vancouver Agitators series and am kicking myself for not doing it sooner. Kiss and Don't Tell was funny and charming and had me smiling my way through. Pacey and Winnie were the best and I loved meeting Pacey's teammates. This was an entertaining read for sure!
Kiss and Don't Tell (Vancouver Agitators #1) by Meghan Quinn
Sounds like the start of a fantasy, right? But it's not. It's my reality.
It all started when I got lost in the middle of the Canadian Rockies. A wicked thunderstorm sent my car mud sliding into a ditch, and for a girl whose survival skills involve finding the nearest Starbucks, I was in deep trouble.
Forced to abandon my car in search of help, I stumbled upon a cabin in the middle of nowhere. Soaking wet, irritated, and in desperate need of a hot shower, I knocked on the door for help only to be greeted by five boisterous, burly, and insanely attractive men.
Not just men.
Professional hockey players.
I hit the motherload of fantasies, right? Wrong.
Because as it turns out, one of them is my ex-boyfriend's half-brother. And when I end up crashing in their spare bedroom for the night, things take a very unexpected turn.
I'm not sure any amount of survival skills can protect my heart from Vancouver Agitators star goalie, Pacey Lawes. But as long as we kiss and don’t tell, maybe everything will be okay....
4 out of 5 stars
I had such a fantastic time reading Kiss and Don’t
Tell. I laughed and smiled my way through as I watched Winnie and Pacey
fall in love. I loved all the guys and am excited for more stories in the
series. This was such an entertaining read with the perfect mix of heat and
heart mixed in.
Winnie was adorable. She was fun, quirky, and sweet! I liked
learning why she was there and why she held herself back, and loved watching her
grow throughout the story. Her walking up to a house with five big hockey
players and all the humor that ensued was awesome. Pacey was wonderful. So
thoughtful and caring, a good guy, and I love how hard he fell for her. I loved
Winnie and Pacey together and thought their flirting was so cute. I loved their
chemistry and watching it grow, and when that chemistry exploded, it was super
hot! They both had things they were dealing with - his half-brother and her ex, who are one and the same - and I enjoyed them slowly opening up and sharing, and
them coming to that moment when Winnie figures that out and everything
implodes. There's definitely some drama, groveling, and wooing and I loved
it all.
All of Pacey’s teammates were hilarious, I thought they were
each fantastic with unique personalities. I love the bonds they have with Pacey
and how they were there for him and how invested they ended up becoming in his
relationship. There were so many funny scenes that had me laughing out loud
thanks to them. I liked Winnie’s friends too, they added a lot of
flair and life to the story and I enjoyed it.
I thought this was charming and fun, pure entertainment, and
flew through it. I enjoyed the story, the build, and the descriptions. The
humor was awesome. There was a nice balance between the sweet and the heat, and
I loved the story's development and their relationship. Excellent start
to the Vancouver Agitators series! I’m so happy all the books are out so I can dive right in!
