It's that time, my May 2020 Book Review Recap is officially up. I shared 7 new reviews this past month. From contemporary, to historical, to PNR, there's a little something for everyone and they're all great reads. :-)
Dream Maker (Dream Team #1) by Kristen Ashley
Amazon | Full Review
Dream Maker is everything about Kristen Ashley that I love. It's had an amazing Rock Chick feel happening with some Dream Man mixed in and I couldn’t get enough. It was entertaining, sexy, and flirty! I loved the depth, development, and fun dialogue. It was an outstanding story and a fantastic start to a new series.
Stone Princess (Clifton Forge #3) by Devney Perry

Stone Princess was exceptional! It had everything I love in a story. It was entertaining and sweet and gritty and real. I loved the humor, emotion, and drama. I loved the build, the heat, and all the characters. I couldn’t get enough!
Dirty Charmer (Royally #5) by Emma Chase
A Secret for a Secret (All In #3) by Helena Hunting

Dirty Charmer was a fantastic read that had me laughing, smiling, and cheering for Abby and Tommy the entire time. It was so entertaining and inviting, sexy and sweet, with awesome characters. It had excellent banter and fun dialogue. I couldn't read it fast enough!
Marrying Winterborne (The Ravenels #2) by Lisa Kleypas

This was an exceptionally well-written story. I am completely in love with this world and all the characters the author has created. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time!
Blood Vow (Black Dagger Legacy #2) by J. R. WardAmazon | Full Review
This was fantastic! There’s a bit of angst, a lot of drama, a good amount of heat, and a lot of love and emotion. I was hooked from the start and kept turning the page.
The Duke and I (Bridgertons #1) by Julia Quinn
The Duke and I was so entertaining! I love how the story was told, it flowed so well and was outright fun to read with a whimsical feel. I enjoyed the humor and wit and laughed my way through.
It was a quiet month on the audio front. I finished up Stella and Mace in Rock Chick Reckoning by Kristen Ashley (my review) and then I never started anything else. With everyone home and everything going on, I think I just needed some silence. I'm sure this month I'll get back to it and start the next book, Rock Chick Regret.
A lot of the time, I read a book and then I let the review sit for a bit before I go back and do the final edit and share. That means the following reviews will be coming your way in the near-ish future:
Daring and the Duke by Sarah MacLean (releases June 30, 2020)
